I am a sucker for portaits taken on the boat too.

Interesting little background story here, re: cruise pics and photopass.

Ovviously, everyone is expecting cruise pics. They get lots of capture there (read, lots of suckers buying pics). So the photopass idea was to the same in the parks, but make it special in a way to catch the little princess hug Mickey, or special moments like that, so the dad can watch instead of trying to take a picture and really miss the magical moment.

I dont know how successful that all was, but i seems to me most of the pics I see are staged. At any rate, it seems that business has grown over time.

Hi Mark ,

Marita they are all staged that is for sure. On the boat they do a lot of portait type pictures. They do really nice family photos. Only thing with these is that you can only buy them in 8X10 which cost more. The rest are done in a funny size if I remember not 5X7. Alot are done on Formal night when you are all dressed up.

it is true that song is about alot of people in this world.......they dont have time to stroll (instead of running) and smell the flowers.......I am allergic to the flowers but love to see them in their beauty. Old people are in need of that talking (even when they dont hear) so they know someone is there listening.....My brother went up to see mama yesterday and do her other shopping and she actually whined and cried when my brother said he would be back on Friday.....this really bothered me .....she is getting childlike some days...she is in alot of pain from her legs ......and he said he is going to ask her nicely to reconsider going to an assisted living facility or a nursing home ....some one that would take care of her 24/7......I told him fat chance....
I blew it last night for the supper blood sugar test.....I usually test between 2 and three hours after eating and WOW......158......so even if I am taking that good cinnamon to help lower the sugar......ONE STILL HAS TO EAT PROPER.....so all those carbs I ate...home made bread, pasta and yummy warm brownies.........so will eat right again....if I have pasta I will eat a big salad with it....and no bread and brownies are out but once in a blue moon....

Nab- when we go to Canada (ok we did it once but we say it that way so we sound more cosmopolitan) we just charge everything and use the exchange rate the day the transaction goes through... it kind of evened things out of us since the whole picking which day to exchange real money for monopoly money was just too much of a gamble.. also it was fun to find out a month later how much we *really* paid for everything. I still have the purple 10 dollar bill (it was cute) and some loonies. Who can resist a loonie?
