Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome Part 3

Moo, it was me.

Moo, it was me.

Drats! Utah already claimed it.
:rotfl: Well, I have heard Uma's voice on her "commercial", so I'm pretty sure it wasn't her. And I don't think Uma OR you would say the particular naughty word that was used anyway!!! I'm just hoping it was a misdialed number.

Good morning kids !

I think I'm going back to bed. Was up til 2 printing photos , got to sleep, and at 3:30 our beagle pup started whining and crying. Finally got up in he needed to go out, but no- he didn't have his blankie :lmao: ;) :lmao:
I had washed it and it was still in the dryer. He didn't like the blanket I had put in there for the time being and was trying to push it out of his kennel . Finally realized what was wrong, got the blankie, and he was jumping up and down in the kennel, banging his head ,he was so darn excited.
Too bad I couldn't get back to sleep. Humphrey slept like a babe...
What a cute story, Poly! My DD picked up her lab mix puppy last night. It sounded like the first night went OK. I can't wait to see pictures!!!

thanks! I have been meaning to track you down and find you! I am crashing the party here after a long hiatus away from the dis....not around alot, but i like some of the sweet peeps that stop here and missed a few of 'em. :yay:

i love humptey dumpty and i love puppys. what kind is he?

i refuse to use caps today....hope that is not offensive to anyone.:yay:
Hi, Horsey Hay, by now you shld know we're pretty used to no caps because of how much we love Lil' G!

Utah I saw you were awake at two. Me too. I have not had a good night sleep in ages now. I noticed it really effects my memory (which is never good anyhow). I just want to sleep like a normal person.

Minnie-Moo, reading back I saw you said you are going to the Poly this fall. How fun. I have never stayed there, but I have visited.
Hope you get a better night' sleep tonight, Haley. I have that memory issue too, but have been attributing it more to getting older lately.

I have only visited the Poly too (see Nab's comment below), but hope to stay there one of these years!

Haley Moo and I were both talking about some day we would like to stay at the Poly. She is staying at POP.

We are just gossiping about your lardbottom....:lmao:

Does she really have one..:rotfl2:
I can attest from a first-hand meeting that Marita is a skinny minnie!!!

Where is Celery lately anyway. I need a spread sheet to see what ADR's I should be making or not making.

Mommy P I think we will spend a good amount of time at the pool too if it is hot as everyone has been saying. Yes I will be the one fully dressed and probably yelling at the kids....I am a yeller by the way.
Yes, I second that motion regarding Celery. I still need to get back to her about the best/worst park days.

AND, it's not too likely that we believe that are a yeller, Missy!!!

Belated WOO HOOTIES to Nab and Marita!!!

Uma, keep up the good work on getting used to the contacts :thumbsup2 You will be great at it before you know it. Kay, Twinkie and others gave some GOOG advice! I just have to say that wearing contacts for so many years is a big reason why I don't do eye makeup. Some people don't have a problem with it, but I never liked the feeling of powder eye shadow falling into my eyes while wearing contacts. And don't get me started on mascara!!!

Oh, and WOO HOOTY to KAY!!!!!

Hi Moo, good to see you, I was missing you tonight!

I hope Kay wrties something about our meet, with virtual and real personalities, that would be a hoot!

Finally Sanjaya goes homes.....

WOOHOOTY KAY, Marita AND NAB!! ITS A WOOHOOOOOTY PARTY!!! :cool1:

Minnie Moo :thumbsup2 great recap

Kay ooo a script - ok dokey, just know I'm not nearly as clever as most of the OM'ers - and I'm a teacher, so I dont break rules... :rolleyes1

A meet, a meet... I have so got to get on the ball with a plan!!! anyone plan on going to Party of the Senses??? Its the only way I get dh to agree to come to WDW!!! :rotfl2: and I like it too!! :rotfl2:

Poor Sanjaya! Why do I care for him so much? Poor guy! Probably because he's someone's baby!

They're all pretty goog. I can watch and catch up with y'all at the same time.

My Kids got a STORY tonight. "Rainbow Fish", again. A bedtime story is not a habit we actually have, but I'm working on it. I love to read and luckily so do they.

If you ever get a chance, read this book to your kids, it is awe-some!

"Ming Lo moves a Mountain" by Arnold Lobel (I just borrow it from the library)

*google it, you will love it!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: She forgot to say that she is a RIOT (in a goog way) and smart and funny too!

 I can only aspire to be as funny and uber cool as you.

Thanks Contact Lens advice givers!

;) <me winking as a lens falls into the sink....

I'll be fine. I am happy with the comfort. I dont care at this point that my left eye is blurry (but comfortable) WHO needs 2 eyes? Two eyes are for wussies! ((the perfect tag!!!!))

Love that tag. A friend of mine on another thread just got a tag about an hour ago. It's a tag frenzy on the dis lately.

Laying in the sun and reading all afternoon makes me very lazy and disconnected from the world.

Now I have to start thinking about real life. Like how messy my house has become and how stressed out it's made me.

But wasn't it worth it? For those blissful moment soaking in some Vitamin D?

If I wanted to read drama or tragedy, I'd read Lord of the Flies or Catcher In The Rye, my favorites! A lot of good lessons in them. Or anything by Jane Austin.

Those are both good. I really like Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. Shocking isn't it? I prefer the character that is a bit of a scoundrel.:sad2:

NAB: I share your joy in Senjaya's departure!!:yay:

WOO HOOTY KAY, NAB, AND MARITA!!

Hmmm, I prefer Darcy in Bridgette Jone's Diary!

Still a scoundrel though!

Actually, this ties in with a previous idea, only I don't know if I'd have time to work on it much. My idea was to write an interactive fictional trip report, using real readers as characters, and some fictional peeps. I would write parts of the story to get it going, and other posters would pick up the thread and add sections of conversation and plot. There are a lot of good TR writers here, so it could be really fun and funny. If we started this before your DIS meet, you could have some "scripts" with dialog ready to go by the time you met in September. If nothing else it would furnish funny material to talk about. ;)

Off to bed soon . . .

I think what this says is that we have a heart of gold and are willing to even give scoundrels a chance. Could we be any nicer? lol.

9:00, time for bed. I just cant watch the News. I keep having nightmares about the shootings. SO horrible!

Ok, Piggy and her glasses are going to bed now!

Good Night All!

GREAT IDEA, KAY!!!!! Nighty, night!

Ok, Piggy and her glasses are going to bed now!

Good Night All!
Night, Uma - your contacts will be a SNAP tomorrow!

Celery . . . Where aaaaaaaaare youuuuuuuu?????????? At a hotel with no Internet service?

Good night Meeps.

Utah I am sooo glad you got the contacts out. :woohoo: That is my biggest fear. My 11yo wants to get contacts and I just know I am going to end up having to help him at some point. I'll come here for advice when that time comes!

Tomorrow I have a heck of a long day. :dance3: My Girl Scouts are going to Build-a-Bear (year end/cookie celebration) and I have to track down all the Mommies that have not turned in permission slips, buy a snack, deposit funds into the bank account so the check I write to B-a-B is not hot, go to Starbucks (just checking if anyone is still with me), pick up prizes and figure out who gets what (which means going through a huge stack of papers in hopes that I did not already round file that list, which I think I did). And I have no dinner plan, but I will be out and about from about noon-6pm, not good.

Friday I am gone all day for a field trip. We are going to the nature center :hippie: Next week I have another one too. 80 5th graders at a huge park with water stuff and such. :scared1: Then two weekends in a row of camping. I need a vacation!

well just saying hi and googbye
Goognite all:grouphug:

spongemommie is NOT a thread killer!

Oh! I forgot!

Twinkie - There are still rooms at POR...are you still trying to talk your DH out of it? You know we wives should submit to our husbands. ;)

I just used all of my wifely charms (not what you are thinking! or maybe it is ;) ) to get him to agree to sell this house for the very clean but less moolah than we hoped offer we got today! I would love to take my unDisneyish sized family to POR for free dining but I was told no rooms. I will have to call back. Anywho I think I will leave the possible sept trip up to him but I have no clue what he is thinking now....

Nab - If I see a fully dressed woman by the pool, I'll come say, "hi". Hopefully it's you. ;)

or will you? Don't worry I am super shy IRL too... Mr. Nab had to track me down at our meet

Hiya to all the meeps and meepettes and junior meeps! Lurkers, stalkers and figments of my imagination too! My week continues to be super busy but thank goodness I am not going on any field trips.... everytime I do I am so thankfu that my students are college age! I love my kids. I love my kids friends but there is something about field trips that makes me exhausted just thinking about it. That said I ALWAYS volunteer for the musuem ones. I love musuems! I love taking kids that have never been! I get excited over all the exhibits and my group always has a great time.

Later everyone!

Haley: Sounds like a crazy day. You might need two trips to Starbucks.;)

Kay: You're getting those creative juices flowing. I like it.

Marita: No offense taken. lol

Spongie: long time no see. How are ya?

Twinkie: An offer? :woohoo:

Hi to all the rest of the gang.

Mommy P I think we will spend a good amount of time at the pool too if it is hot as everyone has been saying. Yes I will be the one fully dressed and probably yelling at the kids....I am a yeller by the way.

Oh good. Hopefully your yelling will drown out my yelling. I try not to yell. Actually I don't think I'm yelling(when we're in public) Chad tells me I am. I think I'm just talking over 4 boys. :confused3

Kay - A script would be nice. I've always wanted to be an actress.

Twinkie - Does that mean what I think it means???? Did you sell your HOUSE? Oh! I hope it does! What a relief that would be! I checked online last night and there was availability at POR for the days I put it...unless you're using different dates.

Twinkie - What the heck were you doing up at 5AM?

Chad said go ahead and book with free dining at POR. But now the wesite isn't working. Can someone check it for me and see if it's the website or my computer?

Uma - I hope you slept well!

GOOD MORNING!

I got here late. Where is everyone?

Congrats Twinkie on the house sale!!!! I hope the process goes very smoothly.
