HS has needed some major action over there for some time. Glad to hear it's happening, and with 2 of my family's favorite films 2018 is so far away.

2018 feels so far out... but it'll be just perfect for us since that means the kids will be just old enough to appreciate SW stuffs.
DH will be over the moon if this comes true.

I was thinking of possibly reselling our BWV points since we don't use them as much as our BLT, but I think I'm keeping them now ...

The new Fantasy expansion felt like forever too... If they open in stages like Fantasyland it won't be as long for the first stage to open. So excited!!

I'd like to see both Star Wars Land and Cars Land happen, but in spite of that thread's title, there hasn't been anything officialy announced. It's still just a rumor - one that's been around for awhile.

The author of that article does not speak for Disney.

This really isn't a DVC subject - those who want to discuss it, should feel free to do so on the Rumor & News Forum.

At this point, I'm much more interested in what JasonDVC posted and what that's all about. I know what he inferred, but when someone who supposedly has credibility posts something like that, ears perk up, at least mine do.

Maybe others have heard about this and I'm just the last one to hear but I want to know more.

I guess. I must have missed that one, but Jason is saying it "should be complete by then." I want to know what he knows. He did not say it in a tone such as it was a rumor or speculation but rather very matter-of-factly, at least that's the way I took it.

EDIT: I just went back an re-read the entire thread in context. Maybe Jason was saying that since Star Wars and Cars Land were shear speculation at this point, inferring that Yacht Club Villas would be ready about the same time was his tongue in cheek way of saying that none of it would ever happen. I guess you could read it that way. Tone is SO hard on forums. If you're going to post something like that tongue in cheek, you should at least put a smiley face or something behind it to explain your inference.

DVD's plan is to "dot the property" with DVC and YCV will be one. Obviously there is no announcement pending but it is in the plans. I understand some are "I'll believe it when I see it" people and I respect that.
