Oogie Boogie on sale date June 26 early for MK June 24-25

I was trying to avoid saying this early on (for fear of jinxing everything), but I was pretty optimistic about this year.

Two years ago, there was a tech problem that allowed scalpers to grab a ton of inventory that screwed up availability. I think they mostly solved that last year.

But the MK sales this week were comparatively tepid. Even the days that sold out took a little while. Having more days to choose from might have helped. (I'm also gently suspicious that they may have held back some spots for the popular days from the MK sale - I feel like they'd rather have day guests on those days.)

Last year, I was stuck in a meeting and wasn’t able to join the queue until 10am. I was able to purchase my tickets after two hours, and about 1/3 the dates were sold out.

As of now, the wait is leas than 1/2 hour and all dates are available. It could be that a few extra days of availability helped, and/ or maybe Disney is increasing the capacity of the event. It sure seems like they let more people in year after year. But ultimately I think demand is softening. Tickets are up 50% in just a few years… lots of families simply can’t afford it.

I was juggling the Oogie Boogie general ticket queue AND the Universal Orlando passholder nights queue simultaneously- they both dropped at the exact same time lmao. It was super stressful, especially when the two times synced perfectly (started at 54 minutes for OBB and 3+ hours for UOPN, but UOPN kept dropping quickly until they were both synced at 19 minutes and then they stayed within a minute of each other). Super stressful, do not recommend, but I successfully nabbed both events for my first choice dates haha

Whew! Got 5 tickets for 10/19. I will be honest I was not optimistic when I got over an hour
Very Cool !! Turns out 10/19 was my date too. Will be fun! I also went in to DVC and grabbed a studio that night at VDH. We plan for our football game, (Go Chargers lol), that afternoon at SoFi, then party the night away!

This was a very smooth process…got my preferred dates and am excited to check out Disneyland and ÖBB for the first time… now that I have my ticket… Do I need to link them to my account? I was confused that they weren’t already in there… But it looks like you just have to keep your email… Or is there something else I should do? Thanks!

This will be our fourth OBB, and we literally go the same time each year, so we remember the tech problem year, and even the year before that, when demand was crazy. I kind of question whether Disney is also releasing more tickets for the OBB then they did before - it has certainly felt more crowded during the OBB the past two years vs our first year...Guess we'll find out this year!

Stupid system glitch refreshed my screen and changed the date. Now I have tickets for 8/19 (which I don’t want) and 8/26 (which we did want). Pain in the butt! Of course their chat says “you can just go that day too.” I like in Kansas you jerk off lol.

Give it a few minutes and it will be in your account. Mine shows in my tickets.

Welp I will edit the top again lol
Lol. There's usually a gap between things starting to sell out and actually selling out - I think the system sometimes readjusts when it gets close.

(Two years ago, I think I had a half-hour that kept refreshing, and eventually my date showed back up and let me put in the cart - then it was another battle to let me check out, but it eventually worked.)

And now it is showing available again.

This will be my first time to go. I signed up for the Half Marathon as well and it took way longer than expected to sell out.
I was trying to be helpful! But it is again on my side showing sold out with 2 tickets selected. But you may want to check. I for some reason had no problem getting back in when everyone said they had to re-queue.
