Oogie Boogie on sale date June 26 early for MK June 24-25

I wasn’t even going to go this year having been last two with not too much character changes. However with this being such a smooth year, I got excited again & bought 😂
Lol - that's what happened to me two years ago. Wasn't planning on going, but the one date I knew for sure I could go became available (after selling out) while the chaos was happening in the ticket thread. (It was fighting me on checkout, too - at that point, all I wanted to do was win the war lol. It ended up being totally worth it.)

DUMB question alert. So sorry.
I hope to get a single ticket to OBB this year for my first time and there is only one date that will work for me. I know historically getting tickets can be competitive and a challenge so I want to do everything I can to increase my chances. Others have mentioned that its helpful to join the waiting list/queue from multiple devices. My husband has offered to try and help me by getting in "line" on his phone too. My question is - should all devices be logged in under my account? Or does that not matter and you enter the attendee information when buying a ticket such that my husband could be logged in to his own account and buy my ticket if he gets in and I don't?

Can someone remind me if there is tax on OBB tix? I looked at my receipt from last year and it doesnt seem like they charged tax.

If there is, it is hiding behind the scenes. I bought 2 tickets on a $169 night, and my CC was charged $338. Email receipt doesn't show any breakdown of ticket vs. taxes.

There is no tax on Disneyland tickets. Anaheim has long had a “no gate tax” agreement with Disney and keeps extending it in exchange for continued investment in the city.

Disney World, OTOH, does charge sales tax on its tickets. Anaheim has long taken the position that they are happy to have Disneyland and want further investment. Of course, Florida took the position that it’s a privilege for Disney to do business in Central Florida.

Bet most of you wouldn’t have guessed that ;).

If Disney doesn’t build a third gate on the Toy Story parking lot, hopefully they’ll expand their corporate theme park offices there and dump the Lake Nona project.

I have been to WDW more this year than ever before that’s probably I suddenly got confused about the sale tax on DL tickets.
