Oogie boogie dessert party seating

Regarding Disneyland Oogie Boogie dessert party
I have a party of two.
I wasn't able to reserve two guests on one reservation.
I was able to reserve one guest yesterday, and I was able to reserve one guest today, so I have two
separate reservations.
Do you think that we can arrange to be seated together when we get there.
Or do you think I should keep trying to reserve for two guests, and then cancel the two single reservations.

Situation is that I need reservation for two for Oogie Boogie dessert party.
I found a reservation for one, and booked it.
My thinking was that I could keep looking and possibly book another reservation for one.
I am now wondering if the system would even let me book a duplicate reservation.
Maybe I should cancel my reservation for one.
And wait for reservation for two to pop up.
Guess I made a mess of things.

I will continue to look for availability for two guests.
