Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween 2023 Super Thread

I am glad we have a date and by some miracle that is my day off next week, but I have to take my nephew to his driving test that morning. Fortunately I will be available to hopefully get in the queue at 9 and he can monitor my phone while I am driving him to the test and I can take over when we get to the DMV. Being a teen he should have fast fingers! I will just make sure to have the dates written down for him in case it goes through when I am driving. I will just hang out at his house afterwards if we haven't gotten in yet.
Pixie dust for everyone!!!

Is it bad that my app and or link hasn't updated to the new message yet?
**Feel like I have the same issue as I did when trying to get tickets the first round** lol

That's the one that caught my eye. Sometimes I notice the most hidden remarks. :rotfl2:
That's actually why I responded to that comment earlier specifically addressing that because I was confused over being concerned about 6am PT since 9am PT is the time we've been given for everything so far 😅.

It's what's good about these threads compared to FB groups: we are way more likely to have the correct info here. And to get it corrected quickly if we don't.

Had completely forgotten about this but you just brought back memories for me of setting alarms every 15 minutes so I wouldn't fall asleep all night long. Jesus what a miserable day.

I was talking with some friends about it and a lot more memories were unlocked of just how bad that day was. General sale for OBB was a chaotic mess and a total fail, but TOD was definitely its own beast that I'm glad improvements have been made from.

Also woohoo a date that I can work with lol. I will not be driving down to SoCal yet and I don't have to go into work that day. I appreciate it might be enough notice for some not as lucky with scheduling as I am right now to make arrangements so they can be on their computer.

May the odds be in your favor, everyone! When/if I have spare queues I'll do my usual and share them out via DM.

Did you try a refresh yet? Also try clearing cookies or looking in a different browser or incognito.

Thanks! Did update for me when I went back to the main page refresh. I did clear all my cookies etc now as well!

I really wish they would have gave a little more info and put out an explanation on what happened last week. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly on Tuesday.
Hackers got in there with Bots. Websites with relaxed reCAPTCHA makes it easier for BOTS to be malicious and buy up tickets. Buy them up using general names like Tom Sawyer, Tom Orrow, Tinker Bell, Buzz Lightyear, and then you can resell them and change the name stating that Tom can't make it, but I want to bring my cousin Suzie Smith now. Why you think Disney needs 2 weeks after tickets went on sale to start selling them again? They figured out that for all the money they pay their IT department, they still don't know how to properly do IT. That's how it always happens with all company's IT departments when something like this happens, they find out exactly what their IT employees actually know or don't know, for all the money they earn. Same thing happened to Ticketmaster with the Taylor Swift fiasco. Funko use to have these major problems before they established a good reCAPTCHA program and now they seem to operate more smoothly with releases on their websites. By now you would think Disney would incorporate that but I never have to go through an extensive checkout process on ShopDisney or any of their websites.
