We said no disney this year due to economic reasons. Now I am thinking if we stay offsite we may be able to swing it.
Looking at the prices and realizing that we can get a week for what we paid for a night makes it seem even more affordable.

But my dh is the hard sell. He is the deluxe guy. He would rather stay home than go cheaply. So would either of these "seem" nice enough?
I saw a great townhouse at WH and it has a tiny dunk pool. CUTE.

But Bonnet looks nice too. Pricing though seems to be about twice as much at BC. Is that right? or am I looking at the wrong places.

We love Bonnet. Rooms are much nicer than our DVC. Try craigslist for rentals. Sure you won't be disappointed.

I was almost in the same boat. We had reservations at Contemporary for 4 nights ($over 3000 for a package) and then we was trying to cut me down 1 night. This was when i looked at condos at Windsor HIlls and found a gorgeous princess themed condo & splash pool which cost us $125 per night. It would save us around $1000 so thats a big difference. Oh and at first my husband didnt want to hear about it, he wanted to stay onsite but i just fell in love with the villas on the website and my husband finally took a look and actually liked what he saw and told me to book it. I was also able to stay an extra night or two doing it this way. He will come around just try to find a nice place and have him take a look. Also there are condos cheaper than what i am paying per night (some even taking off cleaning fees) so just shop around. WH has a website. I was excited to stay at Disney but now Im even more excited to have found this condo where we will all live comfortably and my girls will have a princess room. I couldnt be more happier right now. Im glad i came across it and looked outside the box.

I think what I was most excited about at WH is the washer dryer!!
Do you have one at BC? Does anyone know. Not as much info on the specific rooms at BC.Or at least I don't see it.

BC has washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, jetted tubs, nice balcony, stereo systems.........can't think of anything they DON'T have.

Are you really finding that the Windsor Hills townhome is twice the price of Bonnet Creek? I've found townhomes at Windsor Hills for about $115 a night. Where are you finding Bonnet Creek for half that? I'd sure like to know so I can book it!

try craigslist or tug, we also rented from this site

We got a last minute rental in June for $300, one bedroom. You need to negotiate.

Were you concerned that once you got there you would have a problem? like the person not really renting the location for that week? We have never done it through an owner before and I am nervous about that. Can you explain how it works.
In looking I see the prices vary widely! That's a GREAT price you got! We are going during july 4th time and I am nervous about really having a room once we get there.

You can call the resort to verify the reservation is in your name. They have always been good with us. It can be unsettling to deal with someone you don't know, there has to be a certain degree of trust on both parts. If you don't feel good about it for any reason, move on to the next person. Get the contract & read it before you sign or send any $. pm me if you want, I will try to help you out.
