Onsite to offsite with FP+

We are staying offsite for most of our stay in a timeshare but the first night we have a room onsite. How will this work with FP+? Will we be able to book our first two days' FP 60 days out and then the other days 30 days out? Do they send us magic bands for our one night stay? Can they be tied to our FP for the full 8 nights (on and off site)?

Thanks. Does it impact anything if I buy our park tickets on undercover tourist vs the Disney site?

You have to have a paid ticket for each day you want to make FP+ selections before you can make them. All you need is a ticket number or confirmation number. I know some tickets purchased as part of a package have to be activated at WDW before you can make selections. I've never purchased tickets there, but I'm sure somebody can provide that info.

We took our trip the second week of June and had a 1 night reservation at the beginning of our trip and was able to book all of our FP+s at 60 days out for each day even after we were off-site. Not sure if that is still the case but I would still check at 60 days from that first day of your off-site stay. Good luck!

Our tickets were purchased from Undercover Tourist and loaded just fine. Just use the number on the back of the ticket.
