Ok I have done DLR a whole lot but I am a complete novice when it comes to staying over night at DLR. In fact my one and only two day trip was last years Dis Ladies Trip, and one over night trip to DLH last November.

Well it seems I might have talked DH into doing a weekend trip, that will include staying onsite and breakfast at Minnie's (I want to do it for for going into the closed park :) ). But I want to find the best deal I can on the hotel.

I am looking at probably March for our trip, I would love to stay at DLH or GCH. I have an AP and have already checked those rates. And was curious about discount sites.

Lastly I was wondering if they are finished with the DLH pool yet?

Thanks for any help you can offer up!

I am so happy you posted this...I have two hotel booked...DLH and the Fairfield Marriott...I can not decide is if paying 80 more a night is worth it to stay at DLH.... Is the pool done at DLH? Any other opinions?

And the rest.... sorry about that... stay GCH if you can, much better theme for adults I think, and the pool is very nice there. Can't help on DLH pool timings though

With our size of family it makes more $$$ sense for us to stay off site even though we have stayed at DLH before. OK, but no cigar.

It is only my best friend and myself...we are leaving the families at home....she has never stayed there and I think it might be a fun surprise! I just worry we will be let down by not getting updated rooms, uncomfy beds, etc! And still the OP ? about the pool? Thanks....

Hell, I would stay in the GC instead of the DLH. Very nice and closest you can get.

Yes...the DLH Neverland pool is open :) We were there 2/8-2/11 and swam every day. It was really cold outside but the pool was open!

If you can swing it $$-wise, I would definitely choose the GCH over DLH any day.

Have a great trip :goodvibes

I am not sure if you will find a better price on another site other than the AP discount. But someone might know of a place. I would stay GC! It is more adult but we also take the kids there. Since it has opened it is the only place we will stay. We are trying hojo for the first time in june and I am kinda thinking of switching lol

Anyway...it is a wonderful hotel and you will not regret it! :)

I wouldn't worry about being let down. I was just there for dinner the other night and you can't beat the atmosphere. Late at night i like to walk around the convention center and look at the original DL artwork. I then like to walk the grounds, play with the boats, and especially hang out by the waterfalls - they are so amazingly relaxing. To be in the Wonder Tower with a "pool view" and have your screen door cracked to hear the rushing waterfalls is beyond wonderful.

I've never had a bad bed, there either. If I did, I would definitely not be shy about calling management away!!! That's what they are there for.

Most people never speak up if something is wrong. You can't be let down unless you let yourself be. That means you've exhausted all of your resources to make sure the hotel room is up to your expectations after you walk in the door! :thumbsup2

OKAY!!! Time to cancel the Fairfield and go with the DLH...I just can't pay over another $200 to upgrade for the 2 nights to GCH...unless I win the lottery in the next 2 days :)!!! DLH it is!! And the pool is done and it is going to be 75ish in the day! WOO HOO...any other tips would be killer!
