Hi everyone-
We are planning an early December trip (before the kids are out of school) and I have a question about on-site (either DLH or GCH- depending on how far apart the prices are) discounts. Does anyone know what my best bet is for reserving soon (don't want to miss out on our room) but also getting the best deal? I realize Orbitz/Cheap tickets often give 15-20% off the discounted rates (if they have any) that Disney gives, but here is the issue....

1- when would Disney release those discounts and would that be too late to book 2- Do we know if there is any upcoming Orbitz codes to add on to a potential Disney discount 3- Is there any Orbitz codes coming up without the $150 cap the last few have been coming out with 4- Does anyone know if Disney releases discounts if Costco would extend that same discount- if Orbitz has the $150 cap it would be a better deal to use a Disney discount and the Costco incentive then a capped code.

I appreciate any insight into this or when/how I should book to ensure we can get a room at DLH/GCH (we will be upgrading to a pool view at DLH or a garden view at GCH if that matters) but also the best rate!! TIA

You can book your room now, to ensure you have it. Then, when/if any discounts are offered, you can call and ask them to adjust the rate to the offered discounted rate.

If you wanted to, you could also break your "stay" into 2 or more smaller stays. Just book 2 nights at a time, get the full $150, and then book the next two nights. When you go to check in, chat with the desk agent, and tell them it got booked in separate reservations. I'd say 99.9% of the time, you can stay in the same room, same everything, no problem. And you get $300+ in savings.

There's a code up now that doesn't have the $150 cap. 48HRSALE 15% off. Book by 7/1.

I've been waiting for one of these, too!

I've had the same question and now I'm totally confused on the terminology above. can someone explain? We're AP holders and going again in october. Wanting to stay at DLH. How does this Orbitz/Costco game work? Thanks for your insight!
