Hi everyone. Looking for your opinion. DH, DD5 and I will be coming to WDW for three nights, but only two WDW park days, Aug 24-25. We live near DL and go about once a month, so I was thinking we'd skip MK and go to Epcot & MGM. What does everyone think? Is MGM a whole day? The attraction listing doesn't seem like a whole day. If it's not, we'll spend the rest of that day at our WDW resort pool.

Thanks.

This might not help much, but I'll give it a shot. We're also going down to Disney for almost a week, but only going to Disney parks two of those days. We plan to do Animal Kingdom and MGM on seperate mornings, and Magic Kingdom and Epcot on seperate nights. I'm pretty sure we're gonna utilize the night EMH, so I'm hoping this should work out. If you're staying onsite, you as well can use the EMH, either morning or night, so maybe that'll help with seeing what you want to see during that short time span. Anyway, have a great trip!

I think MGM is the smallest of the parks as far as attractions. They have more shows than the other parks which are very good but I wouldn't stay a whole day there in my opinion.

If you wanted to do everything at MGM you could spend the whole day. Because of all the shows and show times you won't be moving from one thing to the next as fast. I think if you look at the attractions/shows and find some things don't interest you, then MGM can be a 1/2-3/4 day. In August I think you may want to get out of the heat of the day and spend some time at the pool.

We went to MGM with our 5&6 year old girls and once they saw PHD ,Voyage of LM and a few other things they were bored so we left and headed to DTD.They had a better time there and I must admit Hubby& I did also ;)

Thanks for your input. It feels weird going to Disney and not going to the MK. Are there enough differences from DL that I should consider it instead of MGM?
