We're having dinner at CRT, and lunch at Akershus next month. DS5 wants to eat in the castle really badly, and my nieces will be with us for Akershus. I figured that with 2 boys, seeing as they are only 3 and 5 right now, I can get away with a couple of princess meals (both my boys love Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Princess Jasmine, believe it or not...since they love the Disney movies!).

I'm just wondering though...do they have any other characters at either place besides princesses? I mean, is there a chance Aladdin would accompany Princess Jasmine, for example? Or is it strictly princesses? Either way is fine, just curious!

I can't answer whether there will be any "boy characters" at those places (though everything I've read indicates not), but I did want to comment on your boys and the princesses...

My ds was almost 5 when we ate at Akershus last year. He *loved* the princesses. Though I wonder if he'd ever admit it, I think it might've been his favorite character meal. The princesses fawned all over him and he *loved* it. Ariel kept calling him "Sailor" and he thought that was really cool. I think the princesses are just so beautiful to the children that it doesn't matter.

I must admit I was surprised...this is my rough and rowdy little boy who destroys everything, and he was quite smitten with the princesses. ;)

Nope, just princesses (unless you note that Mary Poppins or Mulan may sometimes show up, and they're not technically princesses). Peter Pan was reported at CRT years ago but lately it's been strictly female characters.

Haha, that's what I am hoping for...a little "flirting" between the princesses and my boys! My kids would eat that up!!! ;)

Can't wait to go, and take lots of pictures of them!!! Hmm..."blackmail" pics for when they bring home that first girlfriend? :lmao:

My nephews LOVED the princesses at CRT. They were 2 and 4 years old when we went. One of the best pictures I have of the trip was of my 4 year old nephew grinning ear to ear with a big red lip print from Snow White right in the middle of his cheek!

Also, at CRT they give the boys swords. They thought those were super cool too.

Have fun! :woohoo:

not that I remember... but my son loved the princesses at crt and so did his dad!
