When I first booked our land/sea vacation package through DU there was 541 days before our vacation started.
After adding two extra land days at the front, today there is only one year to go:p
Even this seems like a milestone.

We booked 60 days out and I feel that this is a long time. I could not imagine having a crusie booked for longer than three months. I would go nuttssssss.........I'm constantly counting the days on the calendar.

How about this...

Booking 9 months in advance with parents who never went to Disney AND never been on a cruise...

I get phone messages and E-mails daily, my mother is very excited. I should have an E-mail / phone call count down timer.

(Only 1487 E-Mails to go) Hehe

The anticipation is half the fun. Planning and talking about the cruise helps make the time go by and I can assure you that the cruise is worth the wait. It will be here and gone before you know it and then just book another cruise.

I booked in July of 1997 for my August 1998 honeymoon land/sea package. The fact that the ships sailing date kept getting postponed I honestly wasn't sure until it first sailed in July 1998 that I had a cruise to go on. The nice part was the ship was just 1 month old when I cruised but I also think the anticipation of not even knowing if we could cruise added to the fun.

We booked our May 2004 Cruise in Nov 2002.

I feel your pain!:earseek:

We booked our May 2004 trip June 2003. I booked 7 staterooms 22 people. I get calls alot too. I think I should start a monthly news letter on all the info I have found. Plus all the stuff I read on these boards. All our family wants me to do it. I love all the planning. You guys are all right the wait is half the fun. Almost as fun as the trip. Almost.

Hey, Minnesota Mouseketeers! We're on the same cruise! I booked several months ago so being around the one year mark doesn't seem too bad.

Pretty soon I can book our air and rooms at AKL as we're going to the parks a few days prior to the cruise.

I sent you a PM a few weeks ago - wondered if you had any kids coming with you. Our daughter, age 14, would love to find a friend prior to the cruise.:bounce: :Pinkbounc
