Need sound advice/opinions. We've been to the world several times, always for at least 3-4 days and with park hoppers. Now we're looking at 1-2 days. Do you think we could do RnR, TSM, Countries in Epcot and visit MK in one day from open to close or would it be a smarter option to spring for the two day park hopper. We're trying to keep the cost down this year. But at the same time, I am a disney addict. How would you plan your time knowing those are the top must do's. MK we mostly wander but love SM and Potc so those would have to be built into the day. This is my go to place for all you amazing ppl to put in your experiences or ideas. Thanks in advance!!

Some follow up questions:
When are you going?
How detailed do you usually like to get in the countries? A lot of food, a lot of shopping, a lot of drinking or do you have some go-to places and everything else is just a bonus?

We are going to be in Florida May 23-27th. Countries we like to browse shops/shopping and usually enjoy some wine and snacks, stop and watch what's going on. That's time we like to not be rushed.

I'd have a hard time paying ~$170 for a 1 day hopper (not that a 2-day hopper for $270 sounds "better") plus "premium" day and MK surcharges.

A 3rd option is 2 day tickets for $211, but you would miss out on WS.

Ugh and this is my issue. The prices are beyond unreasonable and getting worse. I feel like Walt is rolling over in his grave at what the prices have become. I'm not wealthy but love enjoying time with my daughter at the world. It shouldn't have to break my bank to spend one or two days there. We've had a rough couple of years and I just want to chill out and have some fun without missing our must do's. She just discovered RnR last year so I'd love to ride it again with her. And MK is a special place for us so that's got to happen. I'm just trying to see if anyone has successfully done three parks in one day or if it's pretty much a no-go. Or if you do two parks in one day, which two would you suggest. MK/HS together or Epcot/HS together ... ?

I would do the 2 day with HS/Epcot together. with so many attractions closing at HS, you could easily get that done in a 1/2 day and have an afternoon and evening to walk around EPcot

I think you can get it all done in the two days with the one day hopper. I agree that it might be best just to get the two day hopper though.

In December, my DD and I did DHS for a day.
Last week, she was in Orlando and had one day, so chose MK.

For me, if I had only one or two days, I'd just concentrate on a favorite park or two with Base tickets and not hop around.

I think you could do all that in one day if you went open to close (and hopefully can grab a few fast passes) but it won't be very relaxing...way too fast paced for me to enjoy Disney. Sounds like you and child could really benefit from spending some *quality* time together as you mentioned in one of your posts above. I'd spring for the 2 day hopper, its expensive but you're already planning on going anyways so I doubt you'll regret the time and extra $ spent with all the memories you make this trip.

So for one adult you are looking at $212 for one day one park or $257 for a 2 day park hopper ($270 for a MK ticket + 1 day PH).

Like others here, I would do the 2 day park hopper with MK for one day and then do HS in the morning followed by Epcot WS in the evening. Luckily, these parks are really close and you can hop a little quicker than other parks. Plus the boat is fun.

I think you'll find the extra money paid for the two day PHs worth it in the end.

Personally, with so little time available, I would focus on the MK and just try to get most of that park done in two days.

But if you must do multiple parks, make good use of rope drop and FP+. Do rope drop at DHS, then hop to the MK in the afternoon, with all three of your FP+ selections scheduled there. Then you can do the afternoon parade and evening entertainment.

The next day, rope drop the MK, then jump to Epcot, where you have the most popular rides scheduled with FP+. Then do the WS and maybe Illuminations.

I was there at the beginning of March. One day I did Animal kingdom in the morning, then Hollywood studios, then swam at my hotel, back to Hollywood studios, then magic kingdom at night. I was there solo and am a quick pace mover. So as long as you like to move fast (which I like to do) you should be fine. But then again magic kingdom had extra magic hours til midnight.

We did this exact thing and felt it worked great, but I do know everyone is different. Got to HS about 45 minutes before opening and signed up for 1st JTA show and had FP for TSMM, RnRC and Star Tours. Headed to Epcot right around 12:30 and spent the rest of the day there.

We did a 2 day trip once and we did one day each at MK and EPcot. I'm not big on hopping to other parks unless the park is right next door. Our next trip was longer and included more parks. Saves time and money and walking doing it that way.

I have done three parks in one day (DHS, AK, MK). However a very special day from 7AM-3AM with no breaks except for a quick return to the hotel to change clothes after riding Kali.

I think it will come down to how late MK is open and how your FP+ are setup for DHS. If you have TSMM FP+ and you rope drop RNR you could be headed to Epcot around 11AM. Epcot WS from NOON-5PM. MK from 6 to Midnight.

Of course without the TSMM fastpass you would have to count on RD for TSMM and RNR.

If you do this post your plan on the board for critique with the park hours and FP+ etc. Folks will let you know the odds.

Two days is easy... MK one day and DHS hoping to Epcot in the evening. Or even the other way around as long as you FP+ TSMM in DHS or have a different plan for riding TSMM such as dropping into the line right before park close...

I think doing DHS and Epcot on the same day, and then spending one whole day in MK would be best. DHS is usually a half a day park for us anyway. I would definitely spend one whole day open to close (with maybe a short midday break) in MK though. I agree prices are ridiculously high, especially for short stay tickets! Hope you enjoy your trip!
