Only having one week in WDW - How do we fit in everything?!

we had our first visit feb half term 4 years ago going again for 12 days in 10 days time:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

my advice is get hopper tickets.plan to do only didney and one water park forget discovery cove and universal we are doin that this time you cant fit all orlando in one week....:scared1: best to plan ahead whats important to your familiy so you dont get into arguments when you get there... get fit before you go there is so much walking you will be shattered:cheer2: youll have a super time:thumbsup2

Like many other posters have said, 1 week is better than nothing at all!

In fact, my best visit to Florida was for just under 9 days! We managed to do all the Disney parks, both water parks, Universal and IOA, WetnWild, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Seaworld. It meant we sometimes did two parks in one day and were exhausted by the end, but by no means did the holiday feel 'rushed' like I feared it might.

As long as you roughly work out when the best day to visit each park will be which you'll be able to gather from various guidebooks or on the DIS, and perhaps aim to arrive early, you will get everything you want done.

We found that we did everything we wanted to do, not necessarily everything that a guidebook or touring plan suggests. The main thing would be to prioritise! You will have a brilliant time :)

The first time me and ex husband went to florida we went for 8 nights as DD was 3 and a half.Wanted a trial. We stayed offsite and relied on the hotel transport. We had a great time and did loads. We did do universal but didnt do seaworld. It was both first time for DD and ex so I picked all the bits I thought they would like. It worked a treat.I was mre tired than when we have been for longer but I would def go again for a week. Its only 4 hours longer than flying to turkey and a lot nicer.:cool1:
Welcome to the boards as well.Hope we can all give you our opinons.Just ignore us if we have the odd moan :lmao::rotfl:

:laughing:That's my quote of the day! What a fab way of looking at it! And as Mrs Sparrow says 1 week is better than nothing at all!

And thanks for all the welcomes and great tips everyone, it's very much appreciated! :goodvibes

If you are just doing WDW I think you will be fine if you were to try and squeeze in other parks I dont think you would be able to do everything! We have been twice for just a week and loved it!

We went in september for one week and did every thing we wanted to do! :thumbsup2 I dont feel like we missed out on anything and we stayed at allstar music and absolutely loved it :goodvibes
