Will head to DHS for a few hours monday (with my teen) before flight. Its been a couple years. And since I wont buy genie plus I wont have any fast passes although I think I will pay for ILL for Mickey Railway since I have never done it. Does everyone head to ROR first? I have no particular other ride I HAVE to do but we like ROR, RNRC, slinky dog and TSMM, and star tours. DD likes tower of terror. I dont really remember smugglers run - did it during the AP preview and my sister was crying being she had just had surgery and it was too much for her so I had to tend to her. Which rides do you think I should try so I can at least maximize how many I do. After all, we are paying over 100 per person for just about 3.5 hours!!

Not everyone goes to ROR first, but an awfully lot of them do. Slinky Dog is the other big rope drop pull.

Are you doing Early Entry? If you do RNRC, then TSM, then Star Tours, you will have almost no waits for any of them. If you decide to do Millenium Falcon; Smugglers Run, I would suggest doing it first. It won't increase the waits terribly for the other three.

You will have long waits for ROR or Slinky Dog, but if you skip Tower of Terror, there's not much more to ride other than Alien Saucers. You could do some of the shows, of course.

Nycdisneygal how did it go? Trying to figure out what strategy is best for HS for an upcoming trip.
Hi! First it was so crowded!! After speaking to my DD she said her priority was slinky dog dash. So at 7 am I bought ILL for Mickey's runaway railway at 10:40 am (earliest available). We did not make it to the studios until 8 am for early entry at 830. We were in line for SDD at 8:16 and off right before 9 am. We walked on to TSMM right after. I checked touring plans and RNR had only about 35 min wait and ROR maybe well over 100 min, Star tours had no wait and I think Tower of Terror also short wait - we didnt do any of these but I wanted to check wait time. We opted to do some shopping before the Railway ride (so cute!) (and cocktail for me and some funnel cake). at 11 am we stopped at Woodys lunchbox to pick up sandwiches to take to hotel room since we had to leave for flight and Toy story land was really packed. insanely crowded. I think if you make it by 730 you can easily do one of the big draws and then short waits for a few rides. the advice from the PP I think is spot on based on what I observed that day. Good luck and hope you have a great time!!
