I think I'm going to grab some Dollar Tree ponchos. I do know that somewhere we have some Ponchos we had to buy at a Dave Matthews Band Concert a few years ago. Not sure where those would be though...

I plan on using the Dollar Tree for my Disney essentuals headquarters!

Dollar tree ponchos are a great idea. No need to spend the $15 or whatever on a Mickey poncho you'll wear for 8 minutes I'll have to hit up my local $ store too. You're full of great ideas! lol

Thanks, I will have to hit up my Dollar Tree as well. I usually get them at Target, but I think Dollartree would be slightly less.

Hiya Skip! Yahooooo for another 10 days down! Our countdown reads 77 days but that includes our two travel days so we're "really" at 79 til we get to Disney just like you! I'm suuuuuuuper excited and just wanna get there already!

Hey Sandy!

No, we are arriving on the 27th! According to my Disney tracker it says 77 days if it's accurate. We were origionally going to take Amtrak but decided to fly with Jetblue. None of us have ever flown before so I'm a little nervous but excited that we'll be there in 3 hours! So by 9:30 am on the 27th we should be there!

Are you doing pretty well with selling stuff for the trip? Joe and I just put a ton of stuff up on Ebay so we're hoping for some extra $$!

Wow-only 3 hours, huh? Not bad!! I've been scared of flying since I was about 10 so thankfully I love love love to drive. There's nothing like driving through Tennessee on a foggy morning with the one you love!

Yeah I have a bunch of collectible stuff that was taking over my house so I am depleting and making some money. I haven't had to list anything on Ebay yet as I just have been selling to interested buyers so far. Have you gotten all your details done for the trip? I still have some loose ends to tie up. I'd like to get most things done by the end of this month. Is your trip paid yet? Our isn't but I want to make the final payment soon. I can't believe how quickly it's coming. I mean, it's almost August and then we can technically say it's next month right???

Yep, I think we've got most things set. We are actually considering doing the House of Blues gospel brunch on Sunday morning on the 30th. The menu sounds too tasty to pass up! And yup-we made our final payment last night. What a fun feelin!

Darn right next month we can say we're going "next month"! I keep looking for little milestones to mark the time passing. Later this month my mom and I are traveling to Iowa for my neice's dedication, then my birthday is August 10the (I'll be the big 2-5!) and then it's the MN State Fair the last weekend of August (big deal around here!) and then it's September and then it's time to go! lol So ya see...it's right around the corner

Yeah the ONLY downside for me is that I will be back at work when we go on our trip. So I kinda have to wish my summer vacation away to get to my trip! I work in a school. Happy upcoming birthday. 25 is a good age. This January I will be turning the big 40!!! At least I can say I went to DW before I turned 40.....lol. And it sounds like a good reason to go back, "hunny, since I'm 40....."

I had DOTB (Disney on the brain) all day today. Wishing I was at MGM, wishing I was at Yachstman, wishing I was at DTD....you name it, I wished it! lol
Is anyone doing anything Disney related this weekend? We're going over our Disney budget (not much has changed, we just like talking about it. lol) but that's about it.

My sons Disney crocs from eBay came today! My daughter is THROWING a fit because she didn't get any.

I think I might hit up the disney store this weekend for some Disney Dollars...but thats about it.

I just ordered that book Kingdom Keepers on Amazon Someone mentioned it on another tread. I will read it with my boys as part of our summer reading program, I think they will find it quite interesting they are 12 and 9.

I read that book not too long ago! It was interesting for sure!

Am still loving the tickers getting lower and lower!

Oh and I decided that I'm going to create a photo scavenger hunt for me and Joe to do while we are there! Most of it will be stuff to find in the parks but I'm going to do some DTD and some resort stuff too. Sould be good fun!
