only 99 days to go

I'm getting excited...really excited. Less then 3 months.

I keep wanting to start shopping for essentuals but I know my hubby will think I'm nuts. I need to get things like glow sticks/bracelts for the kids, those throw away plastic sippy cups..ect. Maybe if I get them and stash them in the luggage in our storage area....

ECHO-The meatballs are our favorites at H&V along with the desserts. Can't wait to get there and fill up NUMEROUS plates. lol

Rap-I want to start shopping too!!! Haha! I want to start clothes shopping but am going to wait until the capris and stuff go on sale.

I love that everyone's ticker reads two months! :)

Hey all!

I'm having Dis withdrawals:scared: I've been busy the past couple of days trying to get some stuff together to sell for a lawnsale so I can make more $$$ for Disney! :cool1: Wanted to pop in and tell everyone I still have Disney on the brain.....all the time!!!

Mickey_Lynne

Hey Lynne!!! Sorry you've been busy but it's all for a great reason-DISNEY :)

I've totally got DOTB (disney on the brain) too. Constantly. lol

We're thinking about adding Concourse Steakhouse into our ADR's but I think I read it was going to be closed...I'll have to do some research on that.

Have a great night!
Sandy

I wish the time would speed up just a little! I think i'm overly excited for this trip!!

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well!

It's about 95 degrees out today so I'm home waiting....waiting....and waiting for Disney to get here. lol

Skippy-no such thing as being overly excited! I love that we're all so excited for our upcoming trips!

I think I told you guys about me and Joe's movie countdown? Every other week (about every 10 days) we watch a Disney movie to signify we're another 10 days closer. Tonight's film is Toy Story II. We'll probably order a pizza and watch it and then maybe watch one of the planning videos. :)

Have a great afternoon!
Sandy :)

It's super hot here too.

My son LOVES the Toy Story movies. Buzz is his favorite "good guy" of all time. I've been trying to get both my kids excited by putting on MGM - a cartoon show on Boom or Cartoon Network (I can't remember which now) - in the mornings. :happytv:

This a great idea (the movie), we have that Disneyland board game that we can drag out. I went to the Disney store and picked up a few bargins on Friday:banana:   Fun fun, so ready.

Good morning!
Toy Story was so fun to watch last night. Can't wait to see Woody and Buzz at Mickey's Not So Scary :)

Hey-I'm wondering if anyone here has used Tour Guide Mike? I've read so many differing point of views and am just wondering if any of you has used it and what you thought if you had...

Have a great day!!

I will be using TGM for my upcoming trip, I have not had any problems navigating the site. His plans sound pretty good, I will see soon:banana:   Yes, I said soon.:cool1: :cool1:

Good to know! Maybe I'll give it a try then. I just didn't know if it'd be worth it since there are so little crowds during the time we'll be there. :)

I do realize that the crowds will be low during that time:wizard: but due to my dis-disease to know all things disney:teacher: , I had to get it. I look through my passporter everyday to:cool1: .

So you definatly think TGM is worth it? I've been thinking of buying a subscription...

I just made the final payment for our trip!!! :dance3: What happens now? :wizard:

Ok, not definatly :3dglasses because I have not used it as of yet. I just love all the disney info I can find:surfweb:

::does the CONGRATS you paid off your trip dance:: :cool1: :cool1:

We'll be doing that next week. Yahooooooooooo!

Do they send me anything fun now that we've paid it off? :rotfl:

I'm waiting for Paypal to refund me for a bogus eBay purchase - maybe I'll use a bit of that $ to check out TGM. I did buy the Unofficial guide to Disney World - and have read that cover - cover.

You see, I'm "in charge". In charge of planning this trip for the 7 of us. My mom, brother and SIL as well as my hubby and kids are all depending on me to pick the best parks on the best days...the best resturants that will give us the most "bang for our buck" on the DDP. I'm feeling the pressure! :scared:

Yeah maybe I will check out TGM...lol. Then I can feel all high and mighty when everyone has a fantastic time. I'll secretly be thanking TGM, but my family will think I'm the master of Disney Trips and invite me along for every trip they decide to take...:cool2:

Hmmmm...I don't *think* so, but I could be wrong. A little bit closer to arrival we'll all get the luggage tags and such but I don't think we get anything quite yet. You let me know if I'm wrong though! :)

Ahh yes...you are the tour guide :) THE tour guide. lol I'm sure you'll do great and everyone is going to be so impressed. Have you posted your ADR's? I might have to go back and snoop and look.

Let me know what you think of TGM. I've read sooo many mixed reviews on him! I too like to know everything I can about Disney. However, we didn't use him last year and did everything we wanted to do within a reasonable amount of time. We got to MGM at rope drop and had read here on the Dis to go on ToT and get fast passes for RnR (since I don't do either ride, I got the fast pass for Joe). We never waited for any rides.

The only time we do Magic Kingdom is during MNSS and last year all rides were walk on. Seriously-we never had to wait for any ride.

We don't really enjoy AK so we've skipped that the last couple years.

And at Epcot, we've done the Segway tour that is at 7:45am and then hit the world showcase afterwards. The park starts to clear around 2 or 3 which is when we do rides with minimal wait times.

So now the more I talk about it, the less I think I need TGM. :) Then again, it's just me and Joe so it's pretty easy to get around. I'm sure when we have kiddos I'll look for the extra help!

I hope everyone is doing well today! I have question for thoes who have gone in Sept/Oct before. Do you recommend bringing rain ponchos? Our last two trips were in Nov and on the 1st trip we needed them once and never on the second, but I don't know what to expect rain wise for this time of year. Thanks for your help!!

Hey Skip!
I remember needing a poncho ONCE last year while we were at the MK. We had it on literally for about 6 minutes and didn't wear them again the rest of the trip. It rained in the middle of the night I remember but not during the day. And remember, the Florida rainshowers aren't normal rainshowers-when they say scattered, they mean scattered! lol I mean, you could be over at Frontierland, we could be in Fantasyland and it's pouring and you wouldn't even know it! :)
