MY BRACES COME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!

after two long, boring, gumless (well not entirly) years...my hunks of metal are coming off my teeth!!!!!im soooooooo excited!

im bouncing off the walls! my dad is going to kill me if he sees me acting the way i am (its like when he disowned me at disney for skipping down mainstreet while singing disney songs)

i have to type because i cant open my mouth, im wearing rubber bands that loop around my mouth so i cant talk..my parents were pretty happy about that one! yay! no school for me...at all!

yipee!


ps. last night..my mom was like "the orthodontist is closed for snow tommorow" i screamed and started crying...then i yelled (in an evil tone) "they cant close it until theres snow on the ground!!!"
hahaha..it wasnt until she pointed out that she was teasing..then it was semi funny...but still not..because the joke was on me.

Congratulations! I just found out last night that I'll be getting mine off in 2 months. I already have my appointments! I am ecstatic. (though I would have prefered to have them off by XMAS ).

You're mouth is going to feel soo odd (this is my 2nd round of braces). Go treat yourself to a candy apple or some really sticky taffy!!!!

I remember that day for me. It is a great feeling. Your teeth will feel a bit slimey and smooth for a bit and you will find that you won't be able to stop running your tongue over your teeth. It feels good.

Congratulations!!! My daughter got hers removed last month and she still hasn't stopped smiling. It's like she's a new person.

CONGRATS!! I got my braces off a few months ago. It was the BEST feeling ever! Your teeth feel so big and clean and the inside of your cheeks start feeling better instantaneously! If you have a choice, get the lingual wire instead of a removable retainer. There's much less chance of losing that! (though i did manage to break it eating an apple!)

well, everybody at school loved my new smile!!!!!!

they are slimey feeling but pretty that equals pretty slimey..ewwwwwwwww!

i was so surprised at how they looked and how they look!

I couldn't where my bottom retainer while I had morning sickness my last pregnancy. And I had a shift...WAHHHHH!!!! I was able to squeeze the retainer on and the ortho adjusted it for me. I am excited that hubby has finally set aside money in our Flex Account so that I will get the teeth fixed again next year. So I'm excited to be getting them back on. I worked so hard (and paid myself) for the braces that I was devestated that I couldn't prevent the shift thanks to morning sickness. .
