only???13 more sails till sept 14 wonder??

Stacy, she sounds like she has lots of experience, if there's time, we'll need to talk, audition coaching is my specialty, and I have gobs and gobs of music!

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Checking the boards helps keep the time going.

Haven't filled out the docs yet, mabye this weekend, I have to review stuff with DH.

lanyards-we got some at Office Depot, theyr'e just black with a zipper pouch. They'll do, they're not Disney, but will suffice for a lot cheaper! Not sure where we'll put Mickey, he's so cute!

newbycruiser could you just put the mickey tag inside of the plastic zippered pouch? I started cutting out the Mickey head from the square cardboard, have you done your's yet? We got really cool lanyards from DVC last February. It has a clear plastic pouch and a cool metal "member's cruise" emblem on it. I most likely will be wearing that.

Gail

yes, we probably will, but I made great inserts fort hem from an idea that I saw on the boards alot earlier, I'll email you a sample

Have docs in hand starting to fill out. Only ONE MONTH til cruise. Then Old Key West in Nov. And Hilton Head in march with Steve and Coleen. Alaske cruise in Aug,2004 come and join us.:bounce:

huckster -
I will be using the Disney transportation. I will be arriving at MCO around 11:00 Florida time. My flight leaves Indianapolis at 8:00 Indianapolis time - it's a 2 hr. flight and we're an hour behind Florida. Maybe I will see you on the bus!

I want my documents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dale are you guys DVC members? If so, are you doing the Alaskan Cruise on points?

Gail

Actually, we are celebrating birthdays on the cruise...my DD is turning 4 on 9/2. I'm turning 35 (geesh, 35 already!) on 9/12. Does DCL do anything special for birthdays? It'd be nice for my DD. Maybe I can tell them at check-in?

Also, when do you find out your dining rotation? Is it on the docs? I received my in-laws' docs and couldn't find it...

Thanks!
Jill

Jill,

For the birthdays you can call your TA and have them add it to your reservation, you will tell them which night you would like to celebrate and on that night they will bring you a cake. I have heard for birthdays they give the birthday person a pin also, not sure it that is still being done or not.

Your dining rotation will be on your KTTW card that you will get at check in.

OHHHH to be 35 again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gail

35 wow i wish!:D lol
i also let them know its our 20th anver. and they said what nite and there will be something special most likely a cake
see ya soon! ºoº

I got an e-mail today from our group person, she said our docs will be here next week. From he looks of our itinerary on the first day, I'll be lucky to catch my breath. (We have a lot of meetings because of the wedding). The first relaxing thing I get to do is go to the boat drill!! LOL
For our anniversary, they said we get a night at Palo w/o having to pay the extra. B-Days last year, the kids got cakes & pins.
We're at the Hyatt Sat. night, and our van is picking us up at 9:00 a.m.....doesn't that sound a little early? I don't want to stand outside the terminal and wait. Maybe the sooner we get there, the sooner we'll be done with all of our meetings!

Steve and Coleen are dvc member, but Karen and I are not. Atleast not at this time. We just really enjoy the whole disney thing. And of course we love to travel as much as possible.

My sister (#1Mouse) is one of the unfortunate ones to be without electricity (Detroit). I call her occasionally and let her listen to my TV. She is going through DIS board withdrawal. They are expecting to be without electricity for 4-12 hours, so the earliest they will be back on will be midnight. Does anyone know if huckster has been affected by the outage?

Carol

#1mouse, we are dvc members but I think we will go with Princess for Alaska and that means cash not points. BUT I think we are planning on banking points for next year and taking a 7 day DCL western cruise in 2005 on points.

Steve

Hey guys just read on another thread we may be one of the first cruises to see a NEW show. It is call Golden Mickeys and it is supposed to start Aug 28 on the Wonder! Sounds like our sailing is going to be even more cool!

Steve

Did they say what "Golden Mickeys" was about? Also, does anyone know if they got rid of "Who Wants To Be A Mouseketeer" altogether? I knew they had moved it to a day time show, but am thinking it's gone...too bad, I thought it was fun.

I was watching the power outage on TV from the hosp. room of my friend's daughter-in-law as she was giving birth to their first grandchild! What a mess. (The power outage & the birth). The father works for us as our foreman, and has hung out at our shop since he was 8 years old. I cried. We have a beautiful little girl....Taylor...6 lbs 2 oz...19 in. I am an Honorary Grandma!

wow, that power outage was something else...can you imagine sleeping in the streets of NYC, stranded in 90 degree heat???

We sat in our living room in air conditioned comfort and watched the coverage...

Luckily, we are on a different grid (ECAR) in Pittsburgh, and were unaffected. (My DH works for the power company, so he was up on everything)

Hopefully we'll hear from our other friends.

the New Show-is it replacing anything or being added? Disney Dreams? the Hercules one? I hope not Disney Dreams, I have not cruised yet and heard it was great.

Stacey: I checked before, and we don't have karaoke on the Wonder, maybe they'll have a sing-along or something fun!

Gail

It says it is replacing the magician act on the second night. The thread was just below this one when I saw it.

Steve

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone else will be doing the Catamaran Sail and Reef Snorkeling excursion while we're at Nassau?:bounce:

In Nassau we plan to try for a carrige ride in the afternoon.

That would be neat if we got to see the new show!!! I saw an announcment for it a while ago and figured that we'd just have to wait to see it on the Magic next year.
:D

Marshmelo,
We're going on the Catamaran sail in Nassau. I think we have ten of us going.
See you all soon!
Stacey
