only???13 more sails till sept 14 wonder??

hi Disneyn!

That spray on tan sounds great, I WONDER how much it is? I may just do the bottle thing, I've had good luck with it looking natural, not yellow and streaky.

I will be SO forward to summer ending, school starts in 16 days, but our summer has been rainy, rainy, rainy! I don't remember ever getting this much rain in one summer! I need some sunshine! I'm getting SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and it's not even winter!

Are any of you Dis-boarders planning on blowing bubbles at the castaway party? I made sure I saved some from the last wedding I attended. The wedding on Castaway Cay will be my first since then. Actually the last wedding I attended was my own in 2000 I forgot I had my Mom pick up these at the last family wedding I couldn't attend last year specifically for the cruise. :jester: Guess we have been waiting for a year now to think it is only ALMOST less than three weeks. How could you plan a wedding at the same time!!!!! Disneyn:smooth:

yep, I've got those cute little bubble things stashed away from from DD birthday party!

Hi guys! I laminated my mickey head, and I was also trying to figure out the best way to attach it. I'm not bringing a lanyard. I was thinking double stick tape, too. Or maybe just a pin.
I got my tan at a tanning salon. They're all over everywhere. I guess there are two different types of the spray-on. The kind I did, I stood still, and just turned around to do the back. I've heard there's one where you have to get in a bunch of different positions. It does look really natural. You have a choice of wearing a swimsuit or not, but it can stain, so I didn't. It's in a completely private room. I had a coupon, so it cost me $15. The regular price is $25.
Huckster: The surgery went really well, thank you. Pretty major, but not life-threatening. The timing stunk, with all the planning & parties & stuff...but it's over, and all is well.
No bubbles for us at the castaway party, but I did buy bubbles for the wedding. Which reminds me, do you think we can do the bubbles on the beach, or should I have them at the reception (at Palo)?? Somehow, I doubt DCL wants bubbles at Palo. Let me know what you think anyone.

I don't think they will have a problem with bubbles on the beach! They could be very pretty with the sun on them! I have a picture that I took at a friends wedding that is of the bride and groom exiting the church and the bubbles are everywhere. It's a really neat shot.
:D

We brought bubbles on our February cruise. I will probably only bring them for my daughter this time. We were standing by the rail and there wasn't anywhere to set them down - ok, it interfered with trying to hold a drink :p

Gail (newbycruiser) I have your Mickey things ready to go out tomorrow. DH made a trip to Home Depot and I had him go by the paint department and pick up a bunch of different colors. When you get it let me know if the colors are ok or if you want other colors.

Steve, how far is it to your son's school. You said you are going to his game the day before the cruise - that sounds like it will be a crazy weekend for sure!!!!!

Gail

He goes to school in Joliet about 45 miles fro home and then we are staying at a hotel up by Midway airport on Sat. night. Thats about 39 min or so away. Then we have a 06:50 flight:eek: so we will only be in the hotel about 5 1/2 hrs. Probably wont sleep we'll be too excited.

Steve

Hi everyone we are going on our second cruise with fireplug. Looking forward to as much fun as the last one.

Welcome Aboard Fire4506. We're glad to have another join us - will you be able to keep Steve out of trouble?????;)

Gail

We are two of a kind so any trouble I get in to my old pal Dale will be right with me.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Now how about some more talk about those Mickeys on the
lanyards:smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

See you all in just a few weeks!

Steve

Hi gang,

Don't want to start a riot but

COLEEN & I AND DALE & KAREN fire4506

got UPGRADED to porthole rooms :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

6524 & 6526

Steve

congrats on up grade..now i want answers!! lol
did you already have your docs then get up graded? or did you find out after you got your docs?

we go pick up ours tomorrow at AAA. I'm sort of excited, but let down...alot of the fun was counting down, and that will be over soon...now what do I do?

COUNT DOWN TO THE NEXT ONE!!!

Congrats on the upgrades Steve & Coleen, Dale & Karen!!!! What a nice surprise!!!!! Now I bet you're even more excited to go!!!!!!

What category were you at? Are your rooms now a 9 or is that an 8? We have the - use to be a category 5, now priced as a category 7 room, it's an obstructed verandah on deck 7. We're in 7620.

I was hoping for an upgrade for my two sisters, except I booked them in a category 10 and from what I've read recently 10's hardly ever get upgraded. (I'm the one who told them what to book so don't tell them I steered them wrong!!!!) I don't think they really care either way, they are just so happy to be going on this trip. They have never been on a cruise ship before. After we get back we are staying at Disney for 3 days and I got us a Grand Villa at Old Key West.

It's getting closer!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Gail

We had a cat 11 gty. When the docs came the room # 's are cat 8 . We had no idea till then.

I don't know why 10's would not be upgraded too we were a 11 so there is always hope I guess.

Steve

 Hey...no fair!! How come you guys have started to get documents already??
Gail (#1Mouse) I think you have the room right next door to my daughter, the bride...sorry!! I had tried to call and move them to your room when I found out how the pricing went on those, but SOMEONE was already in it!!! You may want to vacate it, quite a few of the wedding party are in staterooms down there.
Actually, they're good kids, they shouldn't be a problem. Not too sure about "Honeymoon" night, though! ;)

We fly to Orlando one month from tomorrow :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Stacey:

We got our docs because we are more important than you! (no, just kidding)

Oh boy, the other Gail is by the bride...we're in stateroom 7122, are we by anybody? the honeymoon suite perhaps? Maybe we'll be inspired!!!
