Gail, I remember when my friends and I would cut out a paper playboy bunny and put it on our tummies while we tanned.....I think Bridezilla would LOVE to see me with Mickey's head smack in the middle of my forehead! Then we wouldn't have to throw her overboard, she'd JUMP!!!! In all fairness, she has actually returned to my sweet daughter now that her future in-laws have returned to New York. Tad too much stress, I guess!

Hey guys:

I've been away at the ocean (rain!!!) and just got back...we are in the 30's!

Saw about the meeting, Deck 10, Starboard, around 5 or after the drill. That's good that we're not right in the fray...our family will appreciate that.

Will send DH to get our Mickeys, we wil put them on our lanyards strategically located so Steve will get in trouble...hm...maybe I'll wear 2!

I'm trying to get in my head who is coming, help me out here..

Is this everyone so far? I know I'm missing someone sorry...

Not very many of us are there? I know from an earlier post that there were a few more. When it gets closer, we should post a "Final Call".
I don't even want to THINK about packing. Have been planning (or trying to) in my head how to get it all done.

Took time off today and tested out the spray-on tan. I don't do the sun, even with a pool in the yard. It's fun, and looks pretty good. Better than the stuff I've used before. I was the guinea pig for everyone here, they made me go first. And, no, I didn't strategically place my Mickey head anywhere!

VERY EXCITED, and ready to sail!!

I have a whole notebook of stuff printed out (menus, Navs, etc.) and have been shopping, shopping shopping...

Gosh, the kids go back to school Aug 26, that won't leave me much time to work out. Do you think if I do situps every day for 13 days while she's in school, I'll notice anything?

Huckster: I liked the spray-on tan. It was so easy! At first, I didn't think it was dark enough, but it got darker over time. It only lasts for a week or so, but that's enough for the cruise. You have to wait for at least 4 hours after tanning to shower, and it's more ideal to wait 24 hours. I waited 24. I washed my face, and some of it did come off, but not much. You have to exfoliate really well before hand, or it will wash off sooner. If it's done a good two days before the cruise, it won't run off in the water. I was the only woman doing it, by the way, there were 3 men in there, and a fourth in a tannning booth, so I guess the guys really go for it.
As for the sit ups, etc......I had been going to the gym before I had my surgery, and now I can't excercise at all until I hit the 8 week post-surgery mark, which is a day or two before the cruise, so I guess I'll just have to be pudgy me! Oh well. I only hope some poor little child doesn't have nightmares about the whale sighting!!!!

I am sailing with feenie on the Sept 14th cruise.and we also got the extra day confirm at the Poly in last week. And the extra three days we picked up for a time share package came in, too. That one had us worried because I bought it over the phone. Now all we need is the 7 day land/sea package to come in. That is when I will officially do the happy dance. It's great meeting everyone on-line before we even get on the ship. I have been on a Celebrity cruise twice but I don't think thier boards for cruising are as focused on the line like this. Truly a dream vacation is "The World" followed by a "World" cruise. See you soon feenie. Disneyn

Welcome Aboard Disneyn!!!!! As you can tell by the posters of this thread, we are all a "little" excited to be cruising next month!!!!

Also, don't forget to meet up on Deck 10 Starboard side after the drill. Don't forget your Mickey name badge strategically placed for Steve's entertainment.

Does anyone know what would be the best way to adhere these Mickey heads? The ones at our Home Depot are on a card so you will have to cut out the Mickey head. I was thinking double stick tape might work - any other ideas!!!!! I was also thinking of putting it in the clear plastic pouch on my lanyard where I will keep my KTTW card. DVC gave us really cool lanyards last February, so I might use that.

Stacy - did you go to the tanning salon and get the spray on tan? I've heard a few people say it does stay on for at least a week and looks very natural. Did you wear a bathing suit while being sprayed or were you wearing your birthday suit (not trying to create visuals here, just wanted know how "uncomfortable" of a situation). Besides I wouldn't want to scare the tanning salon people!!!!!!

I've got to get two kids off to college this coming week and then I can think about packing and getting ready for the cruise!!!!!! This is the first year I couldn't wait for summer to come to an end - and wouldn't you know it, this has been the longest summer months of my life!!!!!!
