Can anyone recommend a good place to stroller shop online? My 5yo stood on the foot strap and broke it on his Britax and as much as I hate to say it its worn out and we really need a new one. I know he is 5...but he has autism and there is no way we would make it through our December trip without a stroller.

I know what features I want, just not sure the best way to FIND it...we don't have big baby stores here. Thanks for your help!

Hi there as a mom of a child that will be riding in a stroller till he's at least 5 in WDW due to tone issues i have shopped for tons of strollers, i'm working 12 right now. ;) All these vendors have websites:

Albee Baby has good deals on strollers especially now since everyone is getting ready to launch the 2009's so if color isn't a huge deal it's totally a great way to go.

Pish Posh Baby also has good deals and is still honoring a 5% off code of save5 i believe at check out and free shipping.

If you're thinking of a BOB which would probably serve you the longest and the easiest by far to push for bigger kids REI has offered 20% off occasionally online.

If you have a Bed, Bath & Beyond store near you even if yours doesn't carry baby items you can take your 20% coupon everyone gets in the mail and go in and they will order it take the 20% off and it will be shipped directly to your house. You can shop online to see what they carry. They have Phil & Ted's, etc.

Macro Baby is a higher end baby retailer that has a store in Orlando if you are flying and didn't feel like dragging it thru an airport they will have it shipped to their store from their warehouse and you can pick it up there. They have really good prices on Phil & Ted's etc. If you use the SPEND07 code at check out you can save certain amounts off depending on what you are spending and a Gap gift card back based on what you spend. You can have it shipped to you as well for free shipping sometimes it's easier to have it waiting for you.

USA Baby has a store in Orlando as well and if you sign up for their mom e-wards online they will send you a $20 gift card voucher to use in the store and you could pick it up there as well they carry lots of brands for strollers, many mid to higher range for good prices.

That's all i can think of for now hope some of that helps.

I've had good luck with babyage.com. I've bought 3 strollers and a carseat from them. They usually have decent prices. :thumbsup2

I just bought a brand new MacLaren stroller for DD at babydealz.com

Wow thanks for all of the leads! Also for some new ideas, its hard to know what to get for a bigger kid, he is only 35 lbs but getting taller. He likes kicking up the footrest, reclining the back, putting the cover on and playing with his cars or gameboy in his little cave when he gets tired of whats going on outside. So Im looking for something easy to push, deep, tall, and cavelike? LOL I will search the BOB you mentioned. So far I have Joovy Groove, Baby Planet and Maclaren quest or techno on my list. Hoping not to spend a ridiculous amt of money will see where we end up!

Let me know what you end up doing!

Before you buy from albee baby look around b/c I have often times found things from other websites cheaper. Tinyride is another one I check out they are not a part of right start. Another site you may want to check out is www.returnsforsale.com they usually have BOB recently they had the BJCM for 170. I own the baby jogger city mini I bought it in september for my dd Lily she has low tone along w/ other issues and the light weight easy push is awesome but the cover is so big it practically covers the stroller. I bought it at www.moosejaw.com and was able to use one of their coupons and get 15% off so if you are looking for a jogger type stroller I would check out the sporting good stores for one b/c you have a better chance of getting a discount. The bob and baby jogger brand strollers have a 70-75 pound weight limit, the bjcm only has a 50 weight limit but I know it will be a little bit before we reach and exceed that. I also have a mac techno and I prefer the seat on the baby jogger better. sorry to go if you have any other questions please let me know another good place to check out is a yahoo stroller group that I belong to they often times have great strollers for sale and can tell you some really good online places to shop I will get you the link if you are interested.

I have 2 Quests love them but for a taller or longer child if Mac is what you really want i'd go with the Techno, it's a much bigger seat and would be more comfortable than the Quest. My 3.5 year old is around 38lbs and i find seat isn't quite deep enough for him anymore, his legs kind of dangle all over now. You'd probably be best with a P&T Sport or BOB Revolution just IMO if deep seat and dark hood are priorities would fit him best they are heavy enough to take quite a beating and roll super smooth. I have a Sport that i use as a double.

My son is around 35 lbs and 41 inches, so is that pretty close to your son? I've looked at the jogging type strollers and they don't look like they have much leg room? I had one with a fixed front wheel and I hated it so I gave it to a friend...my thoughts are that I hated it because of the front wheel, and it was more bulky to try to carry on the bus and trains, but maybe now that he is older I should revisit that idea. My big hesitancy toward the Maclarens is the TINY wheels. I just spend 6 days pushing a stroller at Disney and the thought of going to even smaller wheels does not appeal to me. My palms and shoulders got sore!

Thanks for helping me sort this all out! :upsidedow

My DS is 40" so he's pretty close in size. He'd fit fine in a BOB or P&T easily. They are bigger than a Mac for sure but not overwhelmingly so, I find Gracos far worse, the BOB will by far have the most private hood.

My girlfriend has the Duallie and it practically pushes itself, the double is side by side and my kids can't keep their hands to themselves, otherwise i'd have one in my stable. I love that you can lock the fornt wheels if you should take it on uneven terrain but that they swivel otherwise. We've had her 11 year old niece in it at the zoo before and while she was a bit tall to pull the shade over her she was perfectly fine in it not stuffed in or anything.

Great, thanks for the info! Now if I can find one at a managable price! LOL

I just bought one for our Jan trip through Amazon.com and they have free shipping. I also looked at albeebaby.com but amazon was cheaper on the one I wanted

You can get a single BOB revolution on Macro Baby for $349 no tax free shipping if you use code SPEND07.

Glad I found this thread. We are looking for a new stroller for our trip and love the MacLarens but want something with a reclining seat. DH and I are both pretty tall so we need something we can push easily without kicking the wheels or hunching over.

I read some bad reviews of the Mac Triumph but are the Technos any better? :confused3

DS is 18 months and 27 lbs and we hope to keep the stroller for awhile. I love the Peg Pliko P3 but just can't bring myself to spend almost $400 on a stroller.

Within the umbrella stroller category I have it down to either a Mac Techno, a Joovy Groove or a Baby Planet Solo. The Solo is only $99 so its probably going to win.

Still researching jogging strollers.

Do all of those recline but have high handles?
