Online searchable Member guidebook COMING...

I was reading the Fall issue of Vacation Magic on the members website the other day, and it has an article about the mailing list sign up on the web site. In this arivcle it also talks about the member site is going to have an online searchable version of the member guidebook.

I am taking this as them moving more to online information and systems. SO who knows maybe there will be more coming in the future, like checking points balances online, and maybe sometime even online reservations.

I'm a new DVC member, but I thought you already could make online reservations. I called because of the two day response time needed for an internet reservation.

How do you access vacation Magic on the website? Am I missing an icon or something?

You can email a request and then hope it gets filled, but if there is any problems you have to wait and back and forth emails. Online is going in on the site, selecting dates, being told the room type at the resort you want is available and then confirming the ressie then.

On the member site after loging in, select "Member News" on the left. and then under "member News" wil be two links one of them is "vacation magic" click there and it shows the last four issues of Vacation Magic. Click one of these and it will open a PDF of the newsletter. (NOTE: you need a PDF reader like Acrobat Reader to view them)
