Online room requests

Hi all,

Doing the online check-in for an upcoming (Sept 9th) visit, I found that I could only select, in the area of room options (or suggestions, rather) two of three options: Near the pool, Toy story building and ground floor.
It just happens that what I would prefer is almost the exact opposite: a top floor and nowhere near a pool (for noise reasons). No issues with Toy story....

How can I make this type of requests online?

The more specific your request is the less likely they can fulfill it. The last time we stayed we asked for as close to the lobby as possible. We got that one.

Call 407-W-DISNEY as soon as possible and tell them what you want. Then skip the request section of online check-in.

Your trip is really soon - it's possible that the room assigners already assigned you a room.

When making room requests online what you see is what you get.

If we make reservations online, or check in online, we also call to make or confirm our requests.

I would call or chat in your requests, remember they are just requests and not guaranteed, however they may have already assigned your room may have already been assigned as they start assigning them between 5-10 days before your check in date.

If you have a touring plans subscription they will send a fax on your behalf making a specific room request. The first time we made a request we got exactly what we wanted (first floor near pool- Dec 2018) the second time it was the building that we wanted but not the floor (we asked for first floor & got 5th floor - Aug 2023.) A Touringplans.com subscription also gives you access to their dining reservation finder, I love that feature!
