How easy is this to do? What info do you need to provide? What happens when you get to your resort?

Very easy, took a couple of minutes. Got our requests for ground floor and toy story section. Check in took a couple of mins because we had done it online. Will do again this time.

We used this in May and it was really simple. When we got to Pop it was a case of going up to the desk, being handed our Arrival/Information Pack and away we went :thumbsup2

I've just tried to register for the online check in and it keeps asking me to type in a correct zip code. I keep typing in our post code, but it will not accept this.:confused3 Did anybody have the same problems? If so, is there a number I can ring to get this corrected? Many Thanks.

The Disney site has always rejected my post code - no matter what I have been trying to do. There is another way to do it if you have your US reservation number. Go to www.mydisneyreservation.com. If you booked through a UK travel agent /Disney UK, select "Through a group or convention" and it will take you into your reservation and give you the OLCI option.

Unless your staying in a value I wouldnt do it as it limits your chance of a room upgrade :upsidedow

We are staying at SSR. We have visited Disney 7 times before, staying at all the moderates and SSR once before. We have never been offered an upgrade at any of these resorts. Have you been offered any upgrades before? We've never even had any of our requests met before. eg building location, top floor, etc.

I don't believe it hinders your chances of an upgrade. And if you don't like your room assigned to you with OLCI, ask what else they have available. ;)

On our last trip we were upgraded at both resorts :thumbsup2 No particular reason why I think it was due to overbooking....we were upgraded at Wilderness Lodge to concierge level due to overbooking, if we had checked in online our room would have been allocated and we would not have been offered the upgrade (I think it helped we are a couple and were moved into a king disabled room which would not have been suitable for families).

Posters on the resorts board are always saying the online check in limits your chances to get an upgrade for these reasons ;)

So as I said before I would not do online check in unless I was in a value :thumbsup2

Conscierge Level? I thought only celebrities like Jonathan Ross got the conscierge level.:rotfl2: You've convinced us not to do OLCI. I will let you know what room we get when we return.
