I was looking over my reservations and they all say 4 adults, and we are a party of 2 adults a 9 year old and a 7 year old. Does it really matter? Should I call Disney to correct this?

It makes a difference if you have tickets and a dining plan attached to the reservation. A child's ticket is quite a bit less than an adult and the dining plan is way cheaper for the kids.

We currently have the dining plan, but I am in the process of rebooking us offsite- I just cant stand the thought of 2 double beds for 8 nights :sad2:

however, I love staying offsite and its actually cheaper for us to eat OOP at the restaurants anyways.

I guess I will call and make sure its correct! I certainly dont want to pay an adult fare for my kids, especially at buffets!

All my ressies say the same thing too, I have 2 adults and 2 children but they all say 4 adults. I just got off the phone with a dining CM and she said it isn't a problem unless you had to pre-pay for a ressie like Cinderella's Royal Table. I'm on the dining plan so she said it really doesn't matter because when you go the CM will see you have 2 adults and 2 children. Hope this helps.

No, it does not matter. That is how the online system books the adrs. They will adjust it at the podium when you check in for your reservation. They will ask how many adults, children and infants.

Edited to add: it has no bearing on what you will pay at the restaurant. You will pay for your food once you get there, based on what you order, not based on number of adults, etc. in your party. Whether you have the dining plan or not.

Unless, you book an ADR where you have to pay up front, in which case it will give you the option online to enter adults and children. Ie. Cinderella's castle or hoop-dee-do revue.

we have 16 people-- 3 are babies. 1 is a disney child

so if people are reserving for all adults and we wait til we get there to make the changes will there be enough high chairs for the babies?

None of this is really relevant for a restaurant reservation and there's not any reason it can't be corrected at the restaurant. If you're on the dining plan your key card will say how many of each guest there are, so they can be charged properly. If you have any prepaid reservations you should call.

Why would a party with 3 babies be reserving for all adults? Is there a problem with the website that they're coming out as adults or is there no option to designate infants? It shouldn't be a problem getting high chairs unless there are way too many babies in the restaurant at the same time.

FWIW: I made all my ADRs by phone. All ADRs are 2 adults only. HDDR was a prepay. When they populated on the new website, they all say "3 adults". But the HDDR one shows the paid amount which is clearly for 2, not for 3. When I pull up the restaurant details, most of them also say "2", but when I go back to the main listing it always reverts to "3".

Moral of the story: there's still a few bugs in the system.........

Yay this answered my question! My ADRs have DS (22 months when we go) listed as child instead of infant. We have a lot of buffets and family style restaurants so I don't want to get charged for him just because he's listed as a child on the reservation.
