Online Reservation Trouble! 9/12-9/16

It's time to make reservations in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow and Disney's website is giving me trouble. I played with the online reservation system yesterday, as everyone suggested and got familiar with it. No problem.

But today, when I tried to do the same thing, every time I click on a restaurant or "Make a Reservation" all I get is this message "Page Not Found--404 Error." :headache: If that's what I keep getting, I'll never be able to make reservations. Has anyone else been getting this? If so, how was it resolved?

I just called their technical support. They're aware of the issue and are working on it. Apparently they are experiencing incredibly high traffic volume and people can't get in. The guy said it should hopefully be up within an hour.
 

Still not fixed. :headache: I hope they get it fixed by early morning. I book tomorrow. I have certainly dealt with enough problems from this silly dining site. I just wanna get my ADR's booked so I can quit worrying about it. I even took a nap today so I'd be up early in the morning.
 
I've tried calling Technical Support and I can't even get a hold of them. I'm transferred to booking for some reason. Everytime you tell someone there is a problem with the dining site the first thing they want to do is transfer you to the disney dining to do it over the phone. Um, NO, Fix your dang site! :mad:
 
That's so weird - I've been checking a few things on and off the last hour or so and haven't had any problems. (I did earlier this afternoon though.) Go figure. . . :confused3
 
Still showing the 404 error :( It worked for me earlier when I was clicking around though.
 
Is anyone else getting this error when they try to login with their confirmation number or is it just me? I swear I run into one problem and eventually get it fixed to just run into another problem. GRRRR! :confused3
 
I did this morning for several hours. Gave up and called, and got everything I wanted when I wanted it give or take an hour.
 
I get the same error code. I have attempted several days in a row to get the feature to work, but it never works for me. IPO helped me initially and afterwards, I have worked with a combo of calling and checking the things that I need at the 90 day mark.

I have everything except my dinner on 12/07/09 planned, but DHS doesn't seem to have anything available that night. :sad2:
 
I'm glad to see that someone else is getting this error code (although not glad that we are getting it). I have to make my ADRs tomorrow morning and was just signing in for one last practice run and of course, started getting that error.

If I stay up until 3:00am and it doesn't start working again---someone's going to have some splainin' to do!! ;)
 
Just wanted to give a heads up that when I just tried to associate my reservation again---I did not receive the error code anymore. Now that's not to say the problem is fixed and it may still happen when I try to make my ADRs at 3:00---but at least I can breathe easy for a few hours. :thumbsup2

Good luck everyone (unless you're trying to get the same ADRs as me, in which case, I sort of hope you keep getting that error. :rotfl2:) ;)
 
I was getting the error just trying to get to the dining reservation page and the mickey halloween party page.

I eventually just did a search and got them to come up.

I did 2 reservations today and they worked....except when I tried to add in our anniversary celebration after the reservation was made. It would go to the next screen, say done, and it was just a blank background blue page.
I hit the back button and got my reservation number back and kept doing it.
It wrote the extra stuff in a couple times. but i'm not even gonna attempt to delete the duplicate "celebrations" listed on the reservations.

There system is always a mess....I have never seen a major company's website that was so non-user friendly and had such difficulties.
I find it very unprofessional.
 
I just tried three times and I am also getting that error. Wouldn't think it would be so busy this tome of night. Grrrrr! :mad:
 
I've been getting the 404 message for 6 freaking hours! :headache: This is ridiculous. :mad:
 
Did you try and clear your cookies?

I agree!!!! Seems like everytime I log on, something isn't working properly. I can't comprehend how all these issues seem to keep happening. I very rarely use the disney website, if I can avoid it. Information is much more accessible around here or elsewhere on the web! :)
