online reservation times

Breakfast, lunch, dinner option when making dining reservations online...
Anyone know if selecting this option when making reservations fills all the possible time slots, or is it better to search hour by hour? Or does it just search at certain times (like breakfast is only 7-9am, lunch is only 11-1pm, etc).

It says it searches all available times...

But, that's not the results that we've seen since that system went live. I'd say that it's better to search in blocks by the time itself. Remember that it also searches for 2hrs on either side of the time you put in as well, so you have most meals pretty well covered with one or two hand entered times.

When I have used the lunch option in never found anything, but if I put a time in it found several options. That was my experience, so now I always put in a specific time.

I preferred to enter a specific time. Like the PP said, it searches 2 hours before and after that time, so you're searching a 4-hour window. This way, the time(s) closest to the time you prefer will come up.
