Online reservation and lack of points

I have my dates picked for trip in2013, with that said. I will be 2 points shy for what I need to do.I know I go online at 11 months, but if I'm short point wise, do I pay the difference right then online. Sorry I have never done this before. So Please HELP!!!!!

If you need to buy the one time additional use points you can't do that online, you have to call MS directly to make the reservation.

You can also only buy the one time use points at 7 months, so my advice is to book everything but the first or last night. Add that at 7 months along with using the OTU points...... You also have to call MS to purchase the OTU points.

The online system will allow you to borrow the 2 points from the next UY.
