online disney store vs downtown disney?

Is it better to shop the online disney store, or downtown disney in terms of better deals/prices?
Its easy to see what clothing/other item prices are on the disney online store, but how does this compare to shopping in downtown disney? Does anyone know?

any Orlando residents that might have the scoop on whether its better to shop in Downtown disney or in their online store...?

The DTD is the largest Disney store. It has items that you will not find at the on-line store.

For the items that are on line I think the prices were about the same as in store or parks.

On line will put things on sale that the parks have at regular price (or that the parks no longer have). There will be items at each place that the other doesn't have.

Keep in mind, too, that you have to pay shipping for online orders. Sometimes they have free shipping offers - for example buy any park item get free shipping or spend $X amount and get free shipping.
