Online Dining reservations

So I'm a bit confused as to how this works...I was looking through the site so I would have an idea of how it worked when I needed it in January, plus I wanted to see how far out some restaurants were filling up. I was under the assumption that we could book 180 +10 days out starting the day of the trip so you could do all your ADR's at once instead of one a day. Well I just tried a reservation (not actually going to book it, just looking for availability) for 181 days out...and it told me it was unable to preform the service online because it was more than 180 days...


Maybe I'm not understanding, or maybe it works only after you actually book a reservation??? my first reservation won't be until the day after we check in so 181 days from the date they gave me...will I not be able to book???

Someone please shed some light on this and explain to me how this works, I don't want to rack up the long distance bills lol

To get the +10 you have to enter your WDW reservation number, and it'll open up the +10 dates to you.

It's always 180 days from the current day you look. You cannot pick a date more than 180 days out from that.

You get to book at the 180 day mark plus up to the next 10 days of your trip, instead of calling back each day after that. So you have to wait until 180 days from the first day of your trip, but you can then book the rest of your trip at the same time. Hope this makes sense!

Just FYI,,,,, the 180+10 is not currently working online and you have to call. This function has not worked since the last "upgrade". I've been booking mine daily. If you click on a date outside of 180 you "USE" to get a window to enter your reservation number, now you get a message telling you to call.
