Online Dining Reservations Now Available

I called WDW Dine this morning to make my ressies for our vacation in September. We have one night at BLT and then are switching to BCV. They would not allow me to do our whole stay today. I have to call back tomorrow to do the rest of the stay. I think they need to fix this issue as well. Im wondering if I will have any luck calling DVC MS when they open or if I will get the same answer from them?

Let us know. I've been lucky enough to be able to book 90+10 the last couple of times with split stays. It seems the split stay/continuning reservation folks are really getting the short end of the stick. I will be thinking twice about split stays and continuing reservations in the future.

Ok, so I was able to book my dining reservations for my entire stay through DVC member services. WDW DINE would only allow me to book the first night and told me to call back when the 90 period for the second part of our split began. I was able to get almost everything I wanted as well. Anyone else doing split stays may want to book through DVC member services and not WDW DINE.

This really does seem to be hit or miss depending on the CM you get ar WDW Dine and I know it can be frustrating. Somehow I got lucky and was able to book my 90+10 on my first day even though we are at CR for two nights before moving to AKV for the next eight.

I'm glad this worked out for you by calling MS!

That's great! I've also had no problem making my ADRs for split stays the last two times I've called and I called the WDW Dine-Line. Go figure.

It was so frustrating because I got up early and waited an hour on hold. Oh well, everything worked out in the end. Thankfully they should have the online issue worked out by our next trip and this will be the last time I have to worry about it.

Though we are still outside the 90-day window, I wanted to see if my DVC ressie would be seen in the dining system. First, I logged into the dvcmember.com site and confirmed my home number is listed in my profile; it is, and it is listed as the default number. My cell phone number is also listed. I then went to the disney site and browsed until I found the "book reservation" link. Once I clicked on the link, I was asked to enter my resort ressie number and phone number; when using my home number, I received the error message that my ressie couldn't be found. However, when I used my cell phone number with the same DVC reservation number, all of my DVC reservation information appeared correctly. So, it seems the system is pulling off of the wrong phone number field?

I suspect the some DVC reservations working and others not working is when they were made as there is probably a flag in the database which is not set for older reservations

Nope. Someone who made their ressie at the 11 month mark works. Someone who made it 6 months ago doesn't. We made ours at the 11 month mark...doesn't work.

Time, from all the reports, doesn't seem to matter.

I don't think that's new...I think it largely depends on the CM you talk to.

We had a split stay in Jan. 2 nights at All Star Music Family Suites, with the rest of the stay at AKV. They did the same thing to us. Wouldn't let us make all our ressies, only the ones for the first 2 days.

I haven't read the entire thread but we made our ADR's online last week. I have noticed that some people have problems with the system finding their resort ressie. When I made ours, it didn't ask for it. I'm not sure if it was because we are within our 90 day window or the fact that I am logged into the system with my user name and password. I am hoping that logging in is the key. So if you are having trouble with the online system, you may want to be logged into the WDW site.

This has been mentioned many times in this thread - you have to be logged in as the online ADR make a booking button won't show up. It shows up under My Disney Vacation - I tried without logging in, to see what would happen, and online ADRs weren't available to me without logging in.

As well, if you are within 90 days, it doesn't need your ressie number either, but again, must be logged in.

It's funny how the Disney system, once logged in, knows our vacation details, and can then attach our ADRs to that info, but when trying to retrieve the ressies on that same system, it can't find it?

Interesting happenings, as always with Disney Tech Dept., Tiger

Success this morning with calling....we got everything we wanted with the times we wanted for our September 20-26th trip. I was nervous because I couldn't go online earlier but all was well. I didn't have to wait or be put on hold as I called exactly at opening.

The CM was so helpful and knowlegdable and was able to find all the times and locations we wanted, including popular locations such as Chef Mickey and Le Cellier!

WooHoo.....90 days and counting to our trip!!!!

I've been following this thread because I've rented points for a stay at BCV in October. My 90 day mark is approaching, and I wanted to see if I'd be able to make any online ressies. For the past two days, I've gotten the same message as others when trying to retrieve my reservation.

Since I've read that others have reported the problem, I just tried again, just for the heck of it. Well, miracle of miracles, it retrieved my reservation! I didn't input anything differently than before, so maybe there has been a fix.

I'm not sure that making online ressies will be a lot faster than the phone, because you have to put in your party info EVERY time. I've always been able to book the places and times we've wanted when going in October, but I'm worried this year. Seems like many can't get into the more popular places.

I am in the same boat you are. We have rented points from a friend and I have tried to pull up our October BCV reservation using every single phone number either of us has. No luck. :confused3 After a quick review of this thread I too suspect that the fact that it requires a phone number at all to pull up the reservation is the issue. DVC doesn't seem to connect those two numbers as tightly as standard CRO ressies.

I will continue to monitor this thread carefully to see what happens over the next couple of weeks, but I will be prepared to call on July 4th with my normal list just in case.

pilferk - kudos to you and your wife for all the legwork you continue to do!! :goodvibes

I had no luck online but I called in and got everything we wanted for Sept 16-25 including 2 dinners (one for 8!) at Le Cellier and others for 8 people :) I'm excited now! Less than 90 days :cool1:

My friend called Member Services and added my cell phone number to the DVCV reservation. I still cannot pull it up. Here is the error code I am getting:

My Disney Vacation - Error
Sorry, we are not able to display your reservation at this time. Please try again later.

I wonder if any changes made to a reservation don't show up until the computers are updated at the end of the day???

It would be nice if they would just add a link from the DVC Member site next to our reservations to book dining but I guess that would be too convenient for us :lmao::lmao: I can't imagine how hard it would be since they were able to do it for online check in. If they can make it that the on line check in link shows up when your window opens why couldn't they do the same for online dining reservations when that window opens :confused3 :confused3

i booked mine 7am exactly at 90 days i got everything i wanted times too . I did not do it on line i spoke to them . It sounds good to book on line I just hope the computer does not have gliches and it over books ..yicks
