This is frustrating. If I lose dining availability because online booking is down and hold time is over 30 minutes..grrrr.

And I totally understand your frustration. BUT....if you don't get what you wanted, check once or twice per day; chances are pretty good something will open up. Not guaranteed, but I've had pretty good luck most times.
