I have done make ahead dinner but never heard of a place you can go to to do it.

I just got off the phone with mom and dad- they decided to just drive straight through so they will be hear around midnight tonight instead of tomorrow.

this place is called Dinner's Ready! there were a couple different places like this in Modesto too. think I'll use it every 6-8 weeks to supplement my basic dinners.

oh that's a long drive for one day...do they take turns driving?

Mom and Dad are taking turns driving- it is still about a 14 hour day of driving plus stops.

Well I'm not a part of the regular group, but I've been scrapping all afternoon. Well, I spent about 2 hours just putting the photos from our recent cruise in order. Then I started actually scrapping. Only got three pages done and two more layed out. Going back down to hopefully finish those up tonight (I'm doing it down in my quilting area.)

So the first topic of the night is graduations- what thoughts come to your mind, do you know of any poems or quotes for graduation- any ideas for scrapping them.

Not much to know. Only been scrapping for about 2 years. No kids. I was "sucked" in by the neighbors adult kids when they were all here working one weekend. I was merely "watching" and trying to convince someone to do my Alaska pictures. Didn't get any takers. Instead, they handed me a CM book, pages and said "go get your pictures". Well, they "got me". I've been doing it since (although never seem to get together with them whenever they are here as schedules don't allow.)

Have only done 3 cruise books. Am now working on our Mexican Riviera cruise photos.

Actually pulled some 800-900 pictures out from our Hong Kong/Chiina trip of 1990 (when my parents were living there)....yes, hubby was the typical tourist with the camera around his neck. When he found out how cheap it was to develop a roll over there, coupled with the free 8x10 you got from every roll, there was no stopping him. That is going to be a daunting job for sure, not to mention trying to remember what everything was! God help me!

Sounds like you have lots of fun things to scrap and that you have scrapped.

I am Rebecca and I moderate the craft forums with a couple of other ladies. I am a pastor's wife and we have 2 dogs. I have done lots of scrapping of Disney and my 2 dogs but not too much else. I actually started scrapping when I found these forums- I loved crafts and wanted to get involved in swaps so I learned how to do things and started going at it.
