Online Checkin Problems

Just got back from a great trip however had one hiccup at checkin that I found odd and a little disturbing. Arrived at 11AM and went to check on room status. The person at front desk said the usual "you will receive a text." This was the first time that we didn't get to our room early. No problems though we headed to Epcot and came back to Pop Century at 3. There they said "unfortunately all rooms aren't ready at 3 will text you when available." We sat around for an hour in food court waiting and at 4, I went to the concierge asking about the possibility of moving our Via Napoli reservation back and she responded "OH your room is ready". No big deal but at 1:45 AM we were awoken by a text that our room wasn't ready yet and then another text at 2:15AM that our room was now ready. Trip got a lot better but that was not the start we were looking for. We did request and received a King so that may have been the delay but found the texTS ODD. Any similar experiences?
 
We had a similar experience. I hadn’t received a text, so since the line to check in was ridiculously long and people seemed to be having issue after issue, I went on the MDE app just to kill time. It was on there that I saw my room assignment, so we skipped and went up. The text did come hours later, thankfully not at 2am! I figured it was a glitch in the system, or maybe that I was having bad reception and my texts weren’t coming through.

I just went back and checked also had emails timestamped the same times as the texts.
