online checkin -guarantee seats

With the current virgin seat fiasco, can anyone confirm that once we have checked in online( 24 hrs before), will those seats be guaranteed?

Seats are never guaranteed - they can always move you if they need to. Generally, though, once you have checked in, they won't normally change your seats.
