Online check in today at Hilton Head, help with choices

Can do online check in starting today. Never been there before, staying in studio with DH, DS17, DS11. not sure whether to pick low floor or high floor. I heard that on low floors the people above can be super noisy, but then I believe most buildings don't have elevators, is that right? We're no spring chickens and husband had knee surgery 3 months ago. I don't even know how many floors most of the buildings are. Also, do I want island view or marsh view? Both sound nice.

There are no elevators, and even the first floor is up a flight of steps, due to the way it is constructed. My choice would be for a marsh view, as I find it very relaxing to sit on the deck and look over it. You cant go wrong either way. Enjoy your trip, HHI is my happy place.

There is an elevator in the main building if you’d like to request a studio there

We were there on Saturday and stayed in the Live Oak Lodge in a studio on the 3rd floor.
I would recommend there due to elevator.
We had a view of the marsh on the right side of the building.

Buildings 11 and 12 have access to the elevator (they are connected by a exterior hallway).
Building 11 is 3 floors, building 12 is 2 floors.
All studios are part of a 2-bedroom lock-off.
There are 21 studios. 16 are in either 11 or 12.
The other 5 are scattered around the resort, and are all located beneath a Grand Villa.
I wouldn't recommend any of those 5 because they can be noisy.

I would ask for main building for elevator
