Online Check-in Questions

I have a couple of questions about online check in...

Are you able to update the on-board account information at a later date?

Are you able to update that address for one member of the party a later date?

Can you sign up for the Royal Tea online? Is it listed under character experiences?

Definitely yes. I checked my parents in, and I didn't have their credit card info at the time - so I just put "cash". A couple days later when I spoke to my mom on the phone, I changed it to their credit card number.

I'm afraid I can't help with the other two questions. DCL will ship documents to your home after your check-in date has passed, unless you booked through a TA who has docs sent to them. I'm assuming there is a limitation on how much time you have to change the address, for that reason, if it's possible after PIF and check-in has passed. And we didn't have interest in the Royal Tea, so I didn't pay attention to whether or not that showed up, unfortunately. I just checked to see if it's listed for my upcoming cruise, and it's not, but that may be b/c it's booked up (my sail date is in a few weeks).

You can even update your payment method when you are at the port - I know they've always asked if I want to keep it as-is or change it when I check in.

Address I am not sure about, but I would think so - if you do it at the port they *might* ask for id to make sure you're not just trying to get extra on-board bookings (because each different address can take advantage of the onboard booking offers).

Royal Tea - It is under "Onboard Fun" and then "Royal Court". It's on our sea day on my cruise.

Good to know that you can update payment information when you are at the port.

Right, but having it, and all other information, correct ahead of time online, saves you time at the port. But it is good to have that option as a backup plan if things have changed last minute.
