Just got off the phone with Disney Reservation Center(DRC), they are having issues with reservations that are split stays and online check-in.
Yesterday was my 10 days out and I tried to do online check-in multiple times, the error message said to call DRC, spent over two hours on the phone with DRC, DVC MS, and Tech Services. Tech Services finally informed me that I have to be within the 10 days (IE: Less than 10 days from check-in date). I knew this was not the issue cause I have done online check-in a few times at 10 days out, but no one would give me other information.
Today I tried online check-in again and the same error message keep coming up. Luckly Tech Services gave me a direct phone line to them. Well today they tell me since I had a split stay (Originally booked AKV/BWV) you can not use online check-in. A month or so ago I called in and changed to stay at BWV for the whole stay, but MS keep my reservation as a split stay (Two reservation numbers but linked so that I need to only check-in once).
Why was I not informed yesterday of the split stay/online check-in problem?
I wasted multiple hours over the past two days dealing with this issue.
