Online check in for the Fort

Don't bother. They don't have a 'special' line despite email notifications I got. You queue up in the same line with everyone else. Checking was packed today.

A few times (more than once) I've seen a special "on-line" checkin lane.

More often than not, though, NOT.

It still helps to provide your preferred loop choices, pay in full, and smooth the front door process as much as possible.

But it seems the checkin lane I choose is the slowest.

Don't get behind me.

In my three stays only once did they have a line for online check ins. Like Ed said though, it helps you because you can pick any specifics you like.

I hear you but loop not the one I requested though I did end up getting it in the end. Had to ask. And still needed to give credit card for re-entry despite fact it is the same card I've used for years. (SIGH!) BUT....SOOOOO glad I'm here!

I have stayed at the Fort only twice. We did NOT do online checkin either time. No real issues though because we are generally rolling in at about 7 or 8 AM and there wasn't a crowd either time. In fact we were the only ones there (at least when we rolled up).

We used online check-in for the cabins a week ago. It worked great, they ended up texting us our cabin number and our magic bands worked and we never had to stop at the check-in area.

We just go home yesterday and We did on-line check in. The guard at the at the front told us we needed to check in even though I told him we did on line. We did not get a parking pass so we went back the next day and were told that it is now on the magic band. Would have been nice to know this earlier. All in all we had a great stay in the cabin. Loop 2700 got a little rowdy the last night....a LARGE group came in and felt they owned the place. Block the road with cart and tons of kids on bikes and motorized scooters. Security had to break them up several times.

Any problems using cash to pay for site and charges? DID online check in with credit card.
