Online check-in a couple of questions

Has anyone used this lately? I was not going to use it because I was booked at SSR and had requests. But now, my waitlist came through at BWV and I had no requests there. So I am thinking that maybe we will use it.

So my questions are:

Has anyone used it lately and how did it go?

Was your room ready or did you still have to wait?

If you don't like the room they assign you, can you have it changed?

I gave up.
I can't figure out how to make an early check in request.
There isn't a clear indication of where to go or how to do it.

Our Saratoga SPrings stay starts on the 4th of May so maybe I have to wait until Saturday before a way to enter opens up.

Either way I'll be there.

I did online check in for my trip starting May 3 today. At first I couldn't get through and had to close Firefox and open IE. After that everything was fine.
I went to view my vacation details and the link was there. I clicked on the link and just followed the directions.

I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas last week April 12 to 17 and used online check in. My flight arrived in Orlando at 8:45am and we arrived at the hotel at 10:00am. My studio room was ready at 10:00am! I walked up to the online check in desk, showed them my driver's license, they handed me my room key and brochure information and I was on my way in less than 2 minutes.
