Can I do an online booking on cruise release then phone an agent some days later to move my existing cruise to the one I booked online, along with the fcc that is on my account.
Just wondering if I could do this as it would free up the phone lines for new bookers.

Regards Michael

Do you already have a cruise booked with FCC or do you just have the FCC? I had a cruise booked with FCC and they would not let me cancel and apply the credit to another booking because they said once I booked a cruise with FCC it was tied to that reservation number. But others have said when they got FCC when their cruise cancelled they were able to apply it to an existing booking.

I have a cruise booking using the FCC which has been moved twice already same reservation number

Right, but you were just moving it with the old reservation number, not applying to another booking with its own reservation number like OP is trying to do, right? That's what I think is causing problems.

We've got FCC, and would like to book today, but want to book through Costco. Can I book today online with Disney and then move it to Costco by giving Costco the reservation number?

I think we would have to fill out a transfer form and send it to Costco.

Costco Travel doesn't open until 9 am Pacific time - I'm hoping that something is left by then!

And - the Disney cruise website now appears to have crashed.

Looks like everyone's calling Costco now - I'm on hold.

Yes! I've done this many times. I would apply the FCC directly with DCL before transferring to Costco- much easier that way. You have 30 days to transfer your new cruise to Costco. Don't pay the new cruise in full or it won't be eligible for a transfer.

I have a related question. I have a placeholder and deposit on a cruise. Tomorrow can I book online to get the cabin I want (hopefully), then get a CM to adjust the price and move the deposit over?

Did they extend the FCC past September with this new release? I booked through Costco so don't always get the notifications from Disney.

Side question- Generally how long does it take to transfer to Costco? Once the form is emailed what time frame am I looking at?
