I have a res thru CRO but want to try to book one of the DVC resorts with a lesser point requirement than my home resorts since i'm short on points.
Today, I went to member website with intent to 'practice' booking a dummy reservation using one of my home resorts, without actually confirming. There was availability for my trip (combination of September & October dates) and my UY is October. I realize i'd have to borrow points to complete the September portion of the trip, not sure if that can even be accomplished online or not
.
Anyway, I received this message:
Your travel dates may not overlap two Use Years. However, you can book through the end of one Use Year now and then book an additional accommodation for the rest of your travel dates. Or if you prefer, please contact Member Services at (800) ******** to help you book your stay.
I had hoped to get the jump & book online when my 7 month window pops up, but now wondering if i have to wait & call MS when it opens?

. I have one reservation number for the September/October spanning dates. We've been switching over to BLT last few years, will be nice to be back at WL.
