Online AP purchase through DVC website...

... I thought I read that after Jan 2, there would be online access to purchase AP's with the DVC discount. I was looking for this on the DVC Member site and haven't come across it yet.

Has anyone seen it?

Log on to dvcmember.com. Click on the first item "Now Available! - Members Receive the BEST Walt Disney World® Annual Pass Discount!" Scroll down to "Purchase Your Annual Pass Now!"

I just saw it this morning. On the member perks page, under the section for annual passes, there is a clickable link that says buy your ap passes online (or something like that). That link brings you to a WDW page where you can order the tickets. The ordering page specifically says DVC Annual Passes.

I was told this morning by MS that I could renew our APs on the DVC site but I can't find a link for renewals.

Wow - so it takes you to the WDW page, but then states that a DVC Member ID is required at the time of ticket pick-up.

I thought it would be housed directly on the DVC page.

I just ordered our A/P vouchers on-line. It was very easy to do.

I actually just did it as well just to make sure it works, but I thought that I read that we as DVC members would be getting an additional discount if we order passes before arrival (after Jan. 10th), does anyone know if this is the case? If so, then why would people be ordering APs now at $295.00 price?

This is our first AP, so I want to make sure I get all the info I need!

The DVC discounted passes can be bought online or at any guest services or park window. AP's are not available at the resorts.

I don't believe there is an advance purchase discount for AP's. MYW tickets do have an advance purchase discount.

the regular AP is $395 (not including tax)

$295 what DVC members are being charged is the discount.

Sorry I just found the post and reread it again - it says that a poster was told she couldn't order her discounted APs from MS until after Jan. 10th, but they are available at the resorts. I mixed it up with another post re: discounts for pass renewals (does anyone know what the DVC price for AP renewals is?) Now I have it straight - so thanks!

The discount didn't start on the WDW AP/PAP until January 2, 2005.

I won't think No discounts - but alot of the restuarant discount quit in Nov and aren't renewed until January.

I agree. I can't find the link for a RENEWAL either. I can find the DVC discount for an initial Annual Pass purchase but not the renewal. Am I missing it?

Hi DisneyBB - What do you mean about the DDE membership?

If you are a DVC member, you can log into the member site to get to the discounted pass online purchase area. When you purchase any pass online, you will get a voucher in the mail that you take to any ticket counter with your DVC membership card to receive & activate the pass.
