Online ADRs

Sorry if this has already been answered.... I have done a search and can't find another thread.

I have a 12 digit confirmation code which I have quoted in order to book ADRs over the phone quite successfully. I can access and retreive those ressies online but when I try to make any more and click the 'use dining plan' button it asks me to put my code, surname and date of arrival in to no avail....

.....I don't think it likes me much!!

It says it can't confirm my reservation....... any ideas?

The 12 digit res # hasn't been working for any of us recently, only ones working seem to be the 3 letters followed by 5 digits. It looks as if they are changing to this new format. If you have booked thru Disney direct they are giving people the new format, I booked thru Complete Orlando who say its not available to their customers.
All we can do is see our Hotel package, make dining ressies by phone & make ressies less than 180 days online, just can't do the 180+10 online.

Do you know if I should be able to modify my bookings online? (I can see I can cancel them) Or only over the phone? The last ressies I made today the bookings clerk didn't add my daughters Coeliac disease on to them. She said she would do it at the end but obviously forgot.

If I have to do it all by phone I may just leave it until Saturday and book the last couple and make the alteration by phone.

Anyone can book at 180 days, you(or I ) just can't link them to our reservations, I have done most of mine online at 180 days but not linked them, only ones that need linking are ones like Hoop Dee Doo that have to be paid upfront without linking to DDP.
To modify you have to cancel the linked res by phone and re-book without linking. Only things you can do to the phone ressies is cancel or add a celebration.

It sounds like it is just a problem with my number then as it won't recognise it online, but they have managed to use it ok by phone.

I only have a couple more to do, so I will admit defeat and ring again on saturday. At least it will let me cancel if I need to whilst we are away.

You are not understanding me Mel, you don't enter any res number for it to recognise. You just goto the restaurant you want to book and make a reservation, anyone can do it, onsite or offsite, it just asks for your name and phone number.
It won't accept my number but you don't need it to for most reservations.
