Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

They take the system down every night at a certain time (that I'm not sure of) & when they do, your resort reservation won't pull up at all. Just be sure to get online @ 6am eastern standard time & you'll be just fine. If you have any problems, just wait an hour & call in right @ 7. That's what I ended up doing because we have a DVC ressie so I couldn't get the +10 online & we got everything we wanted!

We have had the same problem today. We logged in fine on Saturay but today we added some days to our trip and wanted to log in to add some ADRs and it wouldn't retrieve ours either! It is frustrating! But when it worked Sat - it was great! They were able to make reservations for us on the phone but i prefer the online system.

I just tried to pull up my reservation to make sure that it would work, because I can make our 90 + 10 in the morning. It worked last week, although it was with my cell phone number instead of my home phone which is on the resort confirmation that I have.

However, now when I try and pull up the reservation, it says that it cannot be retreived. Has anyone else had any problems with this? I'm kind of freaking out!! I thought I did everything right, checking it last week to make sure that the reservation would pull up...now it doesn't work. I'm feeling frustrated, and i'm worried now that we won't get our reservations!! There are 6 of us so it can get tricky. Sorry for the vent...

That is exactly what happened to me! I called Disney to verify that I still HAD a reservation. Disney customer service said that it was because I used a travel agent. I said,"Well, I just saw it online a few days ago." He said then it was a computer problem then and I could only confirm it with my travel agent.

I had created an Itinerary online too and it is gone!

What is going on!

It won't let me make any reservations beyond the 1st day!!!! I have entered reservation # and cleared cookies. NOTHING.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Ok so up again prior to six to try to get the covetted Ohana reservation for Sun, Sept 27. Tried and tried normal eating times, with no success so I said well lets put in like 9 pm and see what happens. Well, you guessed it! I now have a 9:50 pm reservation

I booked it I was like holy cow, can I even eat that late at night? I figured one of two things, let's book it now and maybe down the road I can change the time somehow, especially where we are stayingn at Poly, or seeing where we are doing the EE 5k the night before and will be up very late, then maybe we will get such a late start on that Sunday that we will be up very late on that day.

I dont think I have ever eaten that late. Do things digest at that time

Well, I logged in right on time...and my ressie still won't pull up. I didn't use a travel agent, booked directly through CRO last september, we have a bounceback -- and my ressie DID work last week. This really stinks! I guess I will be waiting in line to call at 6!

This online booking really stinks. I can't get anything! And it is only available for the 1st day we get there. I am sooooo frustrated right now.

You know its funny because my ressie number has never worked on the dining page. I can retrieve it under resort reservation but when I try under the dining booking it cant find it.

I was able to book only one restaurant online on my 90 day. I then called booked the rest however was unable to get two I really wanted, Le Celier and Ohana. So I got up on the 90 day mark of each of those and was able to get a reservation to both. Allbeit the Ohana one is at 9:50 pm

So even if you do not get all the ADR's that you want it may be still possible to get the most important ones by getting up on that day's 90 day mark and trying to book online right at 6:01 am to see if something opened up.

Geez, should this be so hard

'Morning! Just finished making my ADRs for our trip Sept/Oct flying blind on when Spectros and Fantasmic will be! LOL

The new system is ok. When you have children, having to keep plugging in 2A, 2C and their ages is inconvenient. I wish it defaulted to your party and you modified it if nec.

Apparently w/ free dining this is a busy time of year. While i was able to get what I want...I was not able to get the times I wanted. I'm going to try calling at 7am and see if I can improve a few. Eating at 7pm w/ our young family is too late. But that's only one night. If I have to keep it I will, we'll just plan on having somethig midday.

All in all, a good experience...but 30mins to make the ressies....a bit long.

Wasn't able to improve this ressie, or 2 others I wasn't totally thrilled about w/ the times. Will keep looking to see if anyone cancels or more slots open when each approaches it's natural 90 day mark. (today I booked as part of 90+10)

got what I wanted within minutes or a couple within hour.

Online ADR not working for me but we had a wonderful CM.

ETA: We called right at 7am and got a CM 1st thing. But we called back 10 minutes later to see if we could change a few things and had a 45 minute wait. Good thing for speaker phones.
I was having problems with CP @ 9:10 and CM @ 8:10pm. Switched days and got CP @ 8:05am and CM @ 5:30pm. I am so totally happy with my reservations now.

Yes unless you used a TA or are DVC. Otherwise you can book online and have a 1 hr. advantage.

You can still book ADRs online if you used a TA or are DVC; you just won't be able to retreive your reservation to get the 90+10.

Another words, best to call for your initial ADR booking. You can use the online system later if you'd like to make changes.

I am not able to see my ressie's online, but they were made by phone before online was available, is anyone hving this problem?

I cannot figure out how to get back to my "cart" when making ADRs...Am I missing something? I have only been able to get to my cart when I add another ressie...help please! I am making a trial run tonight before I can actually make them in the morning!

On the "my disney vacation" drop down menu, there is an option for "saved dining offers"
just click on it, & your cart will load. Hope this helps

I was able to see ADR's I made by phone 90 days out(this was before online). You must make sure you have the correct phone number. I used a different number on line than I did on the phone.

...one is my Le Cellier I'm on hold now, fOr the 2nd time, as I was hung up on earlier Oh, I PRAY that my ADR's are still there!!!

We are taking my MIL & FIL with us and I have their reservation # (we are all on the DP). When I make our reservations (we will all want to eat together at every meal) can I simply make ADRs for the entire party or, since our DP credits are limited to the # on MY reservation, will I have an issue doing that?

You should be able to make ADRs for any size party, regardless of how many people are on the resort reservation.
