Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

You cannot check reservations made by phone with the online reservation system. You still have them, it's just that the system isn't linked that way. It's up to you to keep track of the reservations.

Actually, some of them do show up. I was able to pull up 3 out of 9 online that I made over the phone. Some people have been able to pull up none, others have been able to pull up all of theirs.

"Celebrations"

When looking up your ressies online you have the option to add a celebration, which I did but then when u look it back up the celebration is no longer there and u have the option to again, add a celebration.

does this mean it didnt go threw?

Same thing happened to me. I think it went through because I added celebration information to all of mine and the celebration kept showing up every time I went back to the page. But once you close your session out and look the reservations up again, the celebrations aren't pulled.

I don't know for sure; this is just my guess.

There have been more complaints about this happening. One suggestion, that has worked for some, is to call CRO and find out which phone number is attached with that reservation. It's possible that field is blank or wrong.

Barring that as the reason, if you have the patience and time for it, I'd call CRO to let them know about your issue. These glitches will be fixed faster if we all report the issues that we're having. The sooner that IT is aware that there is an issue, the sooner that they can get it fixed for all.

I would think that if I had the wrong phone number, then it would not find the reservation number.... It finds the reservation number and it even shows the correct resort and date range, but no +10 availability shows up on restaurant date selection box...

Oh well, I will call CRO and report back if I get any useful info...

Since I got most of what I was looking for with a 7 minute wait on the phone this morning, I am not too dissappointed!

I'm wondering if someone can help me. A co-worker of mine is going to Disney the same time we are but booked the trip herself instead of with a TA so she was able to use the online system. She was able to make her ADR's this morning. She made the most important ones first, checked out, checked her e-mail confirmation then went back to make the others that were more flexible. She didn't write down her confirmation numbers the 2nd time since she assumed it would be in her e-mail like the first set were but she never received an e-mail for the 2nd batch. She went into her "My Disney Vacation" section under dining reservations to see if they were there and they aren't. Anyone know how she can retrieve them since she didn't write down the confirmation numbers?

She will have to call in give her name and phone number she used to make the ADR's and they will be able to pull them up and give her the confirmation numbers.

Under the "My Disney Vacation" menu at the top right, there should be a "Dining Reservations" link. From there you should be able to enter the dining confirmation number and associated phone number to retrieve any of your dining reservations.

Did you try opening up the confirmation where it says "open" on the top right. It could be that it isn't there on the top but is in the notes further down. I believe it still gives you the option of adding another celebration and why you see that option to enter it again as some people can be celebrating more than one thing on that same day.

Called in this morning (DVC, so no online...calling was faster anyway )
And got all I wanted
I called right at 4:00 was told there was a 30 minute wait. Hung up, waited a few minutes to see if it was getting worse. Called at 4:09....told that 10 minute wait, was actually connected with someone at 4:13 and done and finished at 4:36.

Got:
9-21.....Brown Derby, 12:10 pm
9-22.....Wishpering Canyon, 12:45 pm
9-23.....'Ohana, 9:10 pm (that was the only time that was way off)
9-24.....Rose and Crown, noon
9-25.....50's Prime Time, noon
9-26.....Boma, 9:45 am
9-28.....Le Cellier, 12:35 pm
9-29.....House of Blues, noon

All for 2...I am very pleased...I was worried about Le Cellier....that is our favorite and we eat there every trip.

We seem to be able to book ADRs at 90 days out from the UK but as yet we don't have anyone able to unlock the 90 + 10 even with a 12 digit US confirmation number.

There is an ongoing thread on the UK trip planning forum with a few updates - I'm hoping I'm out of date and it's working for everyone now!!!!

Thanks for that, we have not booked our next trip yet, but i'm sure it pays to keep up to date with everything!

I would believe to be fair as calling in it would be 7:00 am EST.

If I have my confirmation number from my TA and I am able to see my reservation on the disneyworld website, will I be able to make on-line dining reservations at 90 + 10, or even with that, I won't?

It depends - just because you can see your reservation on the My Vacation pages, it doesn't mean to say the Dining system will be able to find it.

Try it now, go into a dining reservation page and see if it will let you enter your Reservation Number and Phone Number. I'm guessing you'll get an error message, but you never know. If it works now, it should work (and give you +10) when it comes to your booking time.

I made an ADR online and have to say I liked it. I found it very user friendly and easy to do.

Anybody else's thoughts???

You can view your RESORT reservation online even if you used a TA. I can see mine and I used a TA but you cannot pull it up on disneyworld.com you have to go to www.mydisneyreservation.com/guest.

The disney reservation numbers with packages are 8 digits and start with either a 1, 3 or 8

Where is your Disney reservation number listed? I'm looking at the fax Disney sent my TA and I don't see any confirmation number on it. Just a client # and agency #.

Thanks Andre. You were correct - it didn't work.

Oh well, instead of 3 a.m., I can now get up at 4 a.m. to make my ressies by phone....

I just got (finally!) a reply from my AAA TA who basically told I was on my own with adr's. "It would just be easier that way"....ya, for her!
She also said that the online adr's are only a trial thing. Whatever that is suppose to mean. Oh well, Monday I will be up and on hold!
