Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Got on without a problem and made reservations without any glitches. Did not get 'OHANA dinner for either night option but I can live with that. The two most important (to me) reservations are a done deal. I took my time and was on computer about 40 min. The confirmation e-mail came in before I even got the web page closed. I'll get back on later and look for an alternative to 'OHANA.

Then I decided to call in for my Tours reservations. Got through and it said approx. 3 minute wait and after about 5 minutes I got cut off. Re-dialed back right away and got " all circuits are busy". I'll come back and do it later.

I have to admit that I was a bit (okay- alot) nervous about all this. I had practiced but with people getting error messages at check-out I just was not sure. When I had already spent 45 min. on the computer I really wasn't wanting to have to call and thankfully it all worked out.

I hope that all of you who did have problems were able to get what you wanted after calling in.

So to get my 90 + 10 does it come up automatically? I am logged in to disneyworld.com, but I can't get passed just the 90 mark.

Am I doing something wrong or is it the site?

I do hope everyone gets what they want too, not so much for me. No 'Ohana for any dates so far, and we have a split reservation, so not matter what my CM did, he was very nice, but could not book for my later dates.
I'm really not happy w/Disney about this. Split reservation stays are basically punished. If I had known this, I probably would have booked differently, but the CM who I booked with at the time said it would not be a problem!!!!!!

Did you retrieve your reservation when you got to the make reservations page for the restaurant of your choosing?

You need to enter your trip confirmation number and your phone number when you are making dining reservations to get the 90 + 10 to come up.

got everything we wanted including lunch at midday for CRT on the 22nd. was on hold for 25 minutes in the end.

Totally annoyed though at the online ressies as cant access still at all, these issues should have been ironed out by now, its obvious there is a big problem there.

Cant even get through on my vacation booking reservation site.

Well, after 80 minutes on hold, I got neither of the ones I wanted

But then, one of them was Le Cellier on the elusive 23rd, but the other was a Fantasmic dinner package for the 25th at Momma Melrose. NOTHING. None, nadda, zip, zilch available for MM with Fantasmic.

All the other "not hard to get" ones I got online, so I shouldn't complain too badly.

Well the system is brand new to the general public and obviously some details have not been ironed out. My TA made all my ADR's when the TA online system became available and she said she had no issues.

Personally if I were doing them for myself I would play around with the system a few days before I had to go on to familiarize myself with how everything worked.

Another poster mentioned on another post that you tried to make your ADR's at 5:45am, the system doesn't turn over into the next day until 6:01am. You may have locked yourself out of it.

You should try logging out completely you don't have to log into the disneyworld.com site first just go into the dining and go from there.

Those that are having issues with their phone numbers (if not booked through a TA or DVC) call Disney and find out what phone number is associated with your resort reservation so that you have the correct one when you go to do your dining.

REMEMBER - most of this information is on page one of this thread to make it easier to find instead of having to look through all the threads.

I think every second person must have been trying to get Le Cellier on the 23rd by the sound of my CMs voice. I ended up going for lunch...

Yes I am logged into Disney site.

I've tried all out phone numbers, even AAAs phone numbers.

I could seriously just cry, right now.

I know that there are issues with the system today that are outside of this, but if you book with a AAA agent you can't book online as of right now - your travel agent will have to book for you (to get 90+10) online.

Does anyone know how Disney inputs UK telephone numbers into their system, I know that I have the right US reservation number but it keeps telling the register phone number on the account is wrong, so I can't pull up my reservation on the syatem???

cant pull up my 'retreive your resort reservation'
cant check availability
on hold on phone for 20 minutes, said it would be 30.

Finally got thru on the phone.
90 MINUTES hold.
BUT...
Got everything I wanted, including CRT 9/20 at 2:10 pm
